His mind is racing 1000 miles an hour, when someone is genuinely having a panic mentally, they will gasp for air, then they try to hold it back, it's very awkward like this. He is probably under the influence of something and wasn't expecting a surprise interview, adding to his anxiety 10 fold. He was under lots of pressure from critics and now he just lost his opening act. He's freaking out inside, he didn't have a lot of friends to call on, he burned a lot of bridges when he got to the top.

I tend to do the exact same thing when I'm stuck in a situation where I want to laugh but can't b/c it's socially inappropriate (like church when I was a kid). Back when tended bar, my friends would come into my restaurant and purposely try to make me laugh while I was at the bar b/c they knew I had this problem.

Just saw Dice slay an audience of 700+. Say what you want about this guy, but he had the whole room laughing our asses off for 90 minutes. Great show--as far as I'm concerned, he's a top comic.

some comedians (funny ones) make jokes at the expense of people in power, but dice always bashed people with less power. so who cares if we laugh at his pathetic racist ass having a break down. he's still gonna go out there and make money off of hate speech, saying its cool to hit women, etc. we can only hope he becomes so mentally unstable he has to retire for good. i have a lot of mental illness running in my family so you'd think id be sympathetic, but this guy is so f'd up he deserves it.

His mind is racing 1000 miles an hour, when someone is genuinely having a panic mentally, they will gasp for air, then they try to hold it back, it's very awkward like this. He is probably under the influence of something and wasn't expecting a surprise interview, adding to his anxiety 10 fold. He was under lots of pressure from critics and now he just lost his opening act. He's freaking out inside, he didn't have a lot of friends to call on, he burned a lot of bridges when he got to the top.

why is it a sin to show emotion or weakness? I know the guys crazy sometimes but damn its okay to be emotional. you can tell the interview was candid and I respect him for not hiding from the camera. The guys hurting man. He's a human being. I respect him much more when he's like this than putting up an Angry front to hide his pain. He's a tortured artist whether you like him or not. Have a heart god damn!

@mrzisme I think you're reading too much into it. My impression is that he's trying to control his laughter b/c someone off camera is messing with him. I tend to do the exact same thing when I'm stuck in a situation where I want to laugh but can't b/c it's socially inappropriate (like church when I was a kid). Back when tended bar, my friends would come into my restaurant and purposely try to make me laugh while I was at the bar b/c they knew I had this problem.

Just saw Dice slay an audience of 700+. Say what you want about this guy, but he had the whole room laughing our asses off for 90 minutes. Great show--as far as I'm concerned, he's a top comic.
