This is a wonderful use of images, sound, and text, and a brilliant re-use of some of your previous poems, James. I'm glad you survived the experiences of your earlier life to produce such excellent work now.
This is an astonishing piece, words and images. You have become quite sophisticated in your use of editing, a veritable feast for the eyes. I too remember the amazing spectacle of the Apollo 11 landing and how such distant places entered our living room. A real tour-de-force James.
Thanks for taking the time to watch and listen Andrew. I wanted the narrative to become gradually more discernable as the mutiple other tracks ran out. It's an experiment I planed to undertake, while making the other elements over the past year. I'm not sure this version succeeds, but am reassured the concept is works by your comment. Appreciate it.
Thanks for visiting Ida, I always appreciate your visits. My idea was to present multiple non-linear pieces of the story simultaneously under a new present tense narrative that is washed out by the others at first and gradually becomes discernable. From suffering, release. I love your comment about suffering. The crux of the story is the release from attachment and desire that (according to Buddhism) cause suffering. Thanks again, your comment reassures me the story is working.
I really like this, XJ. The narrative, images, soundtrack. Now for the crass: what software did you use?

Glad you like it SpaceOrama. I used Corel video studio. The sound was mixed in Audacity (freeware... yay!) I wink to you. James

I thank you Charlie. The narrator thanks you also, and I'm sure all the characters who made this composite would mean to thank you as well!

Your editing is very interesting to me as well as your story. Yes, as in Buddhism 'there is suffering'.
