This is the most amazing music I have ever heard. I watched lost from beginning to end on tv, and just like you guys I miss it. I agree with those that made the comments- that it should be made a right of passage for our children. There is something simple, pure, magical and romantic to both the music and the screen.

I wept this morning listening to some of them music. The only other thing that can move me like that is band of brothers! Will there be more?

Michael Giacchino poured his soul into this music, and in return we couldn’t help but do the same. There is absolutely no way anyone can ever understand what it meant to be apart of this show and grow with these characters. There are no words to describe it, but we don’t need them. There is more memory and emotion in this music than any amount of words could ever describe. I love LOST, and I miss it daily. There has never been, and never will be another show like it. Lost for life.

@charlieisgone I'm not familiar with a lot of either composers' work, but based on recent work I'd say Giacchino. At the same time Giacchino's had better material to work with, Ratatouille, Up, Star Trek and Super 8, and Lost, versus Zimmer's Dark Knight and Inception - both of which had exceptionally bombastic sound tracks. Giancchino's movies are much more emotional and his tracks really compliment that. I love how he uses different version of the main theme in his film, esp. at the climax.

My uncle passed away recently. LOST was his absolute favourite TV show ever. When he had his first heart attack, he told his co-worker that he was thinking "I can't die now, I need to know what happens in LOST!" He did live to see the final season and like the characters in the show, he also got a happy ending. Listening to this song reminds me so much of him! <3

I had intestinal problems and at one point wasn't sure how things would work out and all I could think of was Lord please let me live to watch LOST. It was something I lived each week for. It was a way of life for us die hard fans or Losties as I have heard. I am sooooo sorry for the loss of your Uncle.  I am sure he is in the heaven he built with all his past family members and those in LOST that he loved so much. Waiting for the rest
