Outstanding demo! I just picked-up the Analogman mod of this pedal (with the mid control) and now I can't wait for my new electric mandolin to arrive so I can try it out. Again...Excellent demo.
@strazzhell if you have amp with good distortion, you can add OD9 or SD9 to get MORE evil dirty...Maxon is great.... 9 series you get compact classic and true by pass pedals. Try listen Maxon DS830 distortion and Real Tube ROD881

This video is pretty good at showing the sound of the pedal :) I like it at lowest drive setting BUT its wonderful for all out punk/grunge when at max! I own an original Ibanez version that was made by Maxon, they are nice pedals! can't go wrong with Ibanez

hey!!! very thx man!!! yeah this pedal is perfect ...work great with pick atack and guitar volume...you can get bluesy and rock tone just roll your guitar volume.....to me it is very better then barber small fry......well Mike is Mike and if this pedal put me near of his tones im very happy =)

what pedal should i look for if i have a ltd kh-202 with emg 81s and a marshall mg 100fx or something like that and i want a distortion pedal that sounds heavy like a metallica type of sound

hi!! it is a HR tube amp hande made here in Brasil. this amp have 30w with 2x 6v6 and jtm circuit style...the great diference to me is my speaker Warehouse Veteran 30...very good...thanks for coment

Been using MXR (script) to a TS-9 to a SD-9 , both early 80's versions for yrs. Their great pedals! God Bless the JRC 4558D ic chip !!!

Try the Digitech TL-2 Hardwire distortion, it reminds on Kirk Hammet's dist.
