Well at least the concept was promising (get two veteran British comedians and...) even if the execution - judging by this performance - fell woefully short of being funny. At least Hylda Baker (God bless her) was trying. Arthur Mullard is about as funny as a tax demand here. The audience look suitably bored too. I understand the song fell straight out of the charts after this embarrassing performance. Perhaps as this was early karaoke, it might have been seen as funny at the time? I doubt it
