the best feature is the divx xvid streaming. I can download a film to my pc and stream to the ps3 with absolute ease. Or I can put the ps3 in my living room tv and stream all the music from my pc upstairs to it, put it on shuffle great for parties. games are ok to lol

No You can't. There was a 60 GB model of the PS3 that could do this, but it is discontinued.

You could on the 60GB one (which I have) but it's not made anymore. To be honest it doesn't matter, I don't play ps2 games at all on my ps3. My ps2 is in the cupboard somewhere if I ever want to do that.

I know but when it came out I didnt have money to buy it I didnt even know it was good but now I do and I have lots of money the only problem is Ime going to have to buy a display from sonystyle its basicly a 60gb ps3 thats been opened and put on display for people to see buts its rarley been used so its good :)

correction you can indeed play ps2 games on every ps3 execpt the 40gb model via download update on the playstation store its free all you have to do is go on the game section and look at add on's then disk based add ons and look for the item labled ps2 playable game its a black box with a blue line through it. Click it and it will autimaticly download --now you can play any playstation 2 game -- :)

i am an old 46 and ive seen all the consoles..the ps3 is the best console to date..where to start.. Quality Blueray player.full HD 3.1 1080P.Big HDD.Free online.Install your own o/s.More powerfull than the Xbox 360.The list goes on.Definitely the best console so far.

I went through 2 xbox 360's and I was pissed. I decided to buy a PS3 and man was that the better buy, blueray,internet,great graphics,sociable and interactive all in one console. I nevr stop playing my PS3 it is awesome and so are the games and graphics

I have all my High Def Home videos inside it and it plays outside from harddrives through USB as well-and it can keep up with High Def through the USB port!

the 360 is winning right now and the developers know this thats y the 360 is getting the ps3 exclusives and i have a 360 and i will get a ps3 soon so im gonna have both and i like the ps3 but the 360 is getting more games and most games look a tiny lil bit better on the 360 but there are like 3 or 5 games on the ps3 that looks better on the ps3 than the 360 and i think the ps3 is best if u are not gonna be playing games every day for long hours and u like movies coz u can save them

I have to disagree about the 360 leading because i'd say they are even right now, but the ps3 is getting 360 exclusives as well, its not a one way street! I have to add that ps3 exclusives look better than 360s and you can save movies onto ps3 aswell

i only know 1 360 exclusive thats on the ps3 and thats Bioshock and thats it there are games are not exclusives thats y they are on all systerms and yes the ps3 exclusive are looking good witch is y im getting a ps3 and take a look at killzone 2

Only thing wrong with the 360 is all the faults. mine got red rings i sent it in and they sent the thing back!! not a new one the fucking orig. now its fucked again so im getting the "almighty" PS3!!

they are fixing the problames now microsoft made a new motherboard that has a 65mn cpu and gpu instade of the 90mn so it will use less power and it will creat less heat and if u can wait till next year there is gonna be a xbox 360 slim and in that 1 they have the cpu and gpu fused together so that 1 will creat less heat that the ps3 or any 360 and because of that they could make a slim verson coz it does not need a large heat sink and i got a 360 im not getting a ps3
