Just wanted to note, you said that the grooves on the bottom are for ventilation. However, I believe they are to allow sound waves to pass from the speaker to the air without plastic getting in the way. I could be wrong, but it seems like you are just used to doing PC case reviews, where the components get hot enough to need some airflow to keep cool.
