Sort of does an Ethel Merman in there a few times. The whistling is so hokey by today's standard. Love that hokum of nostalgia. Jolson didn't pronounce some of the vowels the way Burstyn did.
worst rendition of swanee i ever heard he cant sing and he looks like he was in awful pain get the hook.

Probably a pretty decent concert overall, though.

I once performed this song with a faux Chinese intro. "I come from the village of Sua Nee."
Even sang a line or two in Mandarin. This song is perfect for it.
