  • great tour CW

  • My father works at the Subaru plant in Lafayette, Indiana. They build the Legacy, Outback, and Tribeca there. Getting 36mpg in our new 2012 impreza that was picked up on Saturday, has the new designed 2.0 boxer engine. 2011 Forester is getting around 25mpg. Our 09 Legacy was normally at 29mpg. My personal favorite of all we have had was the Baja, the versitility was great for what it was as a small toy pickup. Outback would be your best bet for willing it up with junk, plenty of room.

  • @tlewis2009 I'm calling on a little ruff one in Hartford Ct now, 5 speed, 180k, $1000. We;ll c if I get it! Work at the factory, Huh? KOOL!!!

  • :O does mrs cw want to replace the accord D:!!!!

  • @TheDataZoo Nope, it's to replace the Hyundai, but she may like one too!

  • Äh Mugs...did you have a good Day or a Bad day at work? (Kraemer/Seinfeld)

  • CW Just get the Mercedes poss a 280SE thats the car to have out of all of them!...;-) Up Up Up in value that may just be a steal at the Junkyard etc..;;-)

  • Do all Subaru's have the flat 4 or flat 6, or do some have V6's?

I agree there are nice cars, you should see if any of them at the junkyard are Fir Sale.

  • @redneckbryon All Subarus these days are flat-4 or flat-6.

  • @redneckbryon Most have flat 4's, and the 2.5 is junk, head gasket probs galore. The 6 is trouble free, even tho it's the same motor + 2 cylinders

  • take a trip to California u can find some really good Subaru

  • @a7g1000 LOL No Snow in San Diego..;-) This man is i the know Come see me man!!! Plus there is No Snow..;-) No Subarus but out of my 200 cars i can def make you happy with good profitable deal..;-) oh ya and mention No Snow in San Diego...?...;-)

  • @CerealMarshmallows Snow? I don't get paid a penny to plow snow, so it's fine by me, but still cold! And not as cold as normal

  • @a7g1000 I'm on my way!

  • You mean the ugly and stupid electric seat belts. Most vehicles that have those have them because the vehicle didn't have an airbag. I believe by the mid '90s few automakers were using the electric seat belts.

  • VDC: Vehicle Dynamic Control. Subaru's name for stability control.

  • I think a Forester in your neck of the woods would soon turn into a For-RUST-er... LOL

  • What no gloves I hardly ever see you with out gloves . I could tell that was somebody car as it lit up when you open door and still had phone charger and up to date plates.

  • My grandma has an outback LL bean edition H6 3.0. Its a nice car but for the size the inside is super cramped and a lot of wind noise (thanks to the frameless windows) gets in along with tons of engine noise and vibration. The car also doesn't exactly soak up the bumps either its pretty rough riding. The seats are also pretty firm even for leather. Other than that its a pretty nice car just not really comfortable.

  • nice subaru---vdc=very dirty vehicle..lol

great video and those other subaru's was nice. I like the look of that forester ,but the dump trucks is the ones I really like, didn't know you was in the same junkyard till you mentioned the dump trucks.later stay warm

  • Get a STI WRX and race the kiddies!

  • can some one tell me what a passive restraint is?

  • @smokey1858 He is refering to the auto seatbelts. Very popular on US cars in the 90s. The sholder strap was on a track by the door. It would travel from about where the mirror is to the normal sholder strap location when you cranked it up, then back to the mirror position when you killed it to let you out. But you still had to manually fasten the lap belt. Crash tested proved later they were aweful in crashes cause most people didn't buckle lap belt, would basically strangle you.

  • @mjmcomputers = JUNK!!!

  • @smokey1858 Automatic seatbelts I think...

  • Mother is looking for a new car too. someone totaled her jeep. i been looking at the foresters. newer ones tho. low miles.

  • I had a 91 legacy non turbo and that thing hauled ass. other than the low ride height it was very sure footed in the snow

  • why so many in the junk yard ?

  • try and avoid the boxer engine for the size of the engines it doesn't have much power for the size of it

  • @weirdstuffanimation7 Lol, tell that to Ferdinand Porsche, or anyone with a WRX.

  • @donbehatin you do realise im talking about the boxer diesel engine right? iv driven one and its the worst diesel engine iv ever encountered its got no low end power at all so you have rev the nuts off of it to get anyway witch means you get shitty mpg

  • It would be great if you could score a civic wagovan! Their great on gas, pretty rare but cheap and their awd!

  • Mugs is AWESOME !

  • Those subarus actually drive pretty nice. Not the fastest thing out there, but they're good.
