hmm...I saw Osipova as Aspicia and I think she is not the best in this role too.So,who is(in your opinion)?

@appolinarie I have seen Zakharova, Ananiashvili, Osipova, Alexandrova and Krysanova. To be honest I liked them all but my favorite Aspicias are Alexandrova and Krysanova, while Nina is the best acting-wise. I just think the choreography and the style of the ballet suit them better, plus they dance to much faster tempi (especially Krysanova).

svetlana is an absolutely beautiful dancer, there's no denying that. but i have to say i didn't really like this. she kept falling into the landing of her pirouettes, and at the end, i wouldn't have noticed it if she hadn't shown it in her face. she looked kinda shocked or something and then that made me wonder what she did and i rewinded it and realised. her manege was gorgeous though. it was like she was gliding through it.

OMG I LOVED that last turn sequence. It looked absolutely effortless! Like she was gliding on water!!!! :O Of course the rest of the variation was perfect as well.

love all the music os this ballet is so beautiful and specially the music of this variation i sooooo beautiful im dancing this for a performance and i can say i dont look with this variation sooo good as zakharova since i saw pharaos daguhter well specially her as aspiccia i dont like any other as aspiccia because shes magnificient in this ballet!!! love this variation!!!

I know, I find it so amusing how she has, like, a million costumes in this!! And they're all sooo gorgeous! And this variation is really nice, I like it. Only, why are her passes so low? It's in the choreography, right?

well, I actually have to say that I usually do not like particulary Sveltana(even if she is an excellent ballerina) but I think she is magnificient as Aspicia.
