haha this randomly popped up under my recommended videos and I must say, my favourite Mats Sundin moment has to be him scoring in the dying second to tie Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals against Carolina in 2002. We eventually lost in overtime...but what a goal.

My favourite moment was when Sundin got angry and threw his stick, and then a short while later Alfredsson mocked it by pretending like he was going to do the same. The shit eating grin that Alfredsson had was priceless. Granted my favourite part wasn't Sundin, he was still involved.

So it was totally my fault when Ottawa and Buffalo were facing off in the quarter finals and Buffalo scored that goal with 3 seconds left. Cause with about 10 seconds left I said to my boyfriend, "Hey wouldn't it be funny if Buffalo scored RIGHT now?"

he technically did not score the game winning goal. shootout goals are counted separately. unfortunately the nhl is so stupid they count the "extra" goal teams cget from winning a shootout which reflects in the final score and count it in the goals for stat. unfortunately the nhl is so tupid they brought in the shootout in the first place and it's quickly ruining the game BRING BACK THE TIE

Yeah, CBC guys said they interviewed Tosk before the game and asked what Sundin would do and he said "he's got the best backhand in the world." So Tosk knew what he was going to do, and he still did it and scored.

I couldn't stop laughing when Moore got on that breakaway, too bad Blake couldn't get around Lu because that would have been an epic goal. My dad was like "where'd his stick go?"
