  • Just when I thought Bryan couldn't sound any better than His Eye Is On the Sparrow, I heard this. Literally in tears again God is so awesome #blessed

  • He is good but in my choir we to would in trouble for doing all that rifting while using our hands. After sing for nine years up until the present I have kept my range for the most part.

  • My question is - who can dislike this presentation??? He is an extremely talented young man who has a voice we all wish we had. With operatic training this young man can go far!!! His accompanist is one of the great ones!!!

  • He reminds me of a young tevin campbell bryans damn good but he's no TEVIN

  • Whistle tone (aka whistle register) or falsetto, neither of which are within an individual singer's natural range, does not automatically result in damaged vocal cords. It's is all about the technique used to achieve either effect. Is it something that should be practiced regularly? Not at all because that in itself would be damaging.

  • The last note is not going to damage his voice because it's falsetto. Plus, this was eons ago. LOL

  • @suhuba no itz not wat r u talking about its not falsetto its whistle tone and its almost hitting the 7th octave. Which is damaging

  • he killed that las note

  • at the end that whistling sounded good but thats gonna mess up his voice.

  • Lawwwwdddd Jesus!!!! He gave it to them at the end!!!!!!!!

  • He Reminds Me Of Tevin Campbell, Anyone Agree?

  • @TinyMenace10 Yup!

  • OMG.......This isn't Bryant COURTNEY Wilson, is it?? If SO, LOVE him!! If this IS him, it just lets me know how annointed he TRULY is.....been serving the Lord a lonnnnng time, from a young age. Amen. And even if NOT Bryan C. Wilson, the young man was still used as an annointed vessel. Praise Him!!

  • 25 people need Jesus. Ask him for a new set of ears!

  • i aint even goin trip all i gotta say is damn..ders is'nt much of him in diss world..gr8 inspiration

  • Wow!! So nice!!!

  • he is good blesss man

  • Once was the Tony Thompson (R&B group HI-Five and R.I.P. to him) of gospel.

  • bryan has grown,,,and still sounds beautifulll!!!!

  • Boy u singing very good.....

  • Boy!!!!!! you better sang the end of that song!!!!

  • Growing up in the Harlem Boys Choir, we'd get beat for all that riffing with our hands LOL.

As far as his voice goes, I don't care for all this lead. Perhaps its the seasoned singer in me but he's doing entirely way too much.

He and I are about the same age and I was able to keep all of my range, good vocal training and sheer luck I guess.

  • @PrinceDomo i agree with you he did way to much all them riffs and runs was unnescessary

  • Um,he totally murdered that at the end!!

  • he sounds great!!!!!!

  • wow i think he sounds good

  • he sounded better younger

  • @chronicalsofnonsense well hit hit puberty , he cant help it.....this clip is good though.... he still was able to do a lil somthin somthin.....

  • a trully dreadful take on a beautiful song

  • Yes! I Got to praise HIM Thank YOU JESUS!

  • great voice

  • OMG!!! What a range!!!!!!! He nailed it!!! Awesome Bryan, keep it up!!!!! God bless you always!! You are such an inspiration to the younger generation of singers!!!!

  • Oops I meant Bryan

  • Wow, Bryson dominated the ending!

  • Amazing gosel singer!!

  • Wonderful!! He killed that song!!*

  • absolutely beautiful...He killed the end of that

  • reminds me of tevin campbell

  • @idlecalvin83 4 real

  • I LOVE IT! THANK YOU LORD! OT TOUCHED MY SOUL!

  • How old is this performance?

  • WHO HAS HEARD HIM SING HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW WHEN HE WAS 12? THE MOST BEAUTIFUL THING YOU HAVE HEARD COME OUT OF A TWELVE YEAR OLD.

  • @michaelthegreat1198 I was singing do re mi's with him when he was 12 : P ------ eh brian? :D

  • @michaelthegreat1198 I cannot stop listening to it....he was/is marvelous!

  • too talented the way he plays with notes wow

  • I burned up a few cassette tapes rewinding this song over and over as a kid.....Lol...Still love it.......

  • He actually believes in what he is sing about and that is what makes this so speical....

  • what is this bad talk on here? i wanted to post if anyone knows if he or his choir has a facebook page? been a fan for a long time.

  • SHHHHHHHHHHHHUT UP! That's so powerful!

  • Wow wow wow thats what im talking about he killed the last part made me jumo out my seat lol

  • THAT ENDING WAS CRAZY STUPID SICK!!!! Can't even get it out the way I want to LOL!!!

  • @divamama110 He was meaning that at the end wereen't he, LOL.

  • God Bless You. As long as you stay in the Will of God, there are elevations he can take you and doors He can open that no man can shut. I see you know that by what is occurring in your life now. ACCENTUATE THE POSITIVE IN ORDER TO ELIMINATE THE NEGATIVE. That is what satan wants is negativity. It's the anointing that destroys the yoke.

  • HOLD IT NOW!!! Now this is not on the "I'll See You In The Rapture" album!!!! How i know cause look at the robes...lol

  • OH yeah he worked the end of this song! AWESOME!

  • U better sing boy!

  • AMEN IS ALL I CAN SAY

  • I love 2 hear him sing this song you are so Blessed...

  • Mr. Wilson; you are like a tree, planted by the rivers of waters. This is your season. Your voice in your singing ministry is bearing fruit. You have no idea how many people with a troubled soul or a wounded spirit, even major physical illnesses that hear your praising and are up-lifted. Thank you. You may not be where you want to be, but don't despair: you are where God wants you to be. Your treasure is where your heart is.

  • That last note just gets me every time.

  • My God, My God!! I believe I'm having church right here at work! Praise HIM!!!

  • Beautiful Voice ,!! I LOVE IT. . . .I LOVE This Song ,He Sung It The BEST !!! :)

  • i didnt know he can still do that high note!!! JESUS!! he can saaaaaaang!!! I almost shouted

  • ALL THINGS COME FROM GOD, SO PEOPLE NEED TO BE CAREFUL WHO THEY PUT THEIR MOUTH ON. THIS BOY CLEARLY IS ANNOINTED AND HAS A DIVINE GIFT FROM GOD!!!

  • youtube " theelder " takeover

    itunes " thisjourney " theelder

  • OMG!!! BLESS GOD!!!

  • hey man great job..great to know there is someone who can like me........but look how your voice changed....now you can only sing tenna......as suppose to suprano when you were younger....hmmmmm but there is a difference .there was an annointing when you sang as a youngster.now you're doing it for the fame..dont loose track sir..........its still ALL about God.......o h and i managed to keep both supranoand tennar.......good luck

  • @Zaneization Are u serious? As what happens to most young boys, their voices change as they get older. And trust me if you were a true male soprano your name would be in lights; which leads me to my next point. BW has cut Cd's and sung for and with some of the greats in gospel music what have you done? BTW that’s a rhetorical question…

  • @scholar300 hey now come on...i wwas just saying...and they're alot of great singers who have not been noticed because of where they live...so that statement was kinda stupid

  • dang he can hit a note that i could not hit if my life depended on it and im a girl God bless

  • I remember seeing this clip years back..... one of the best renditions of "blessed assurance" I've seen.

  • @TheQuantum09 The scripture was taken out of context like I said before and you have still yet to tell me who gave you the divine authority to judge someone else's anointing. Who's to say that yours is sincere? My whole point is that you do NOT have that authority. Furthermore just because someone is not singing how YOU like does not mean that it isn't anointed. However if you would like to continue this conversation you can message me sir.

  • @TheQuantam09 I am truly confused as to what that has to do with anything. Like so many others this scripture is taken out of context because you still have yet to prove how he does not have an anointing upon him. The Bible also says in 1 Chronicles 16:22 "Saying, 'Do not touch My anointed and do My prophets no harm.'" Like I said before you don't have the right to judge anyone and the Bible clearly states that. Christians can be some of the most judgmental people and wonder why the church fades

  • @MrRpulley I didn't take anything out of context. You asked me that you were dying to know who gave me the authority to judge someone's "anointing" and I gave an answer. The way that Wilson is singing is enough proof for me to tell that the anointing of God is missing; futhermore, just because someone is singing about Jesus Christ does not automatically mean that the anointing is on them.

  • @TheQuantam09 I'm dying to know who gave you the authority to question someone else's anointing? You didn't give it to him so who are you to question whether or not its real. Last time I checked the Bible says in Matthew 7:1 "Judge not, that ye be not judged." Even though I don't see how you could say that, if you truly feel that way, pray for him.

  • @MrRpulley Who gave me the authority? JESUS. Last time I checked, I have the authority to do what 1 John 4:1 tells me to do: "Try the spirit BY the spirit." I have the UPMOST authority to question whether or not someone is "REAL" about serving the Lord. That's one of the reasons why many souls remain lost. As a musician and a singer, I believe that Wilson is just constant riffs, long range and overall stylish singing. He's singing under his own power and not under the power of the Holy Ghost.

  • @TheQuantum09 you are indeed lost. But you are in luck, four 'found' has found you today. Take the scripture...."Try the Spirit BY the spirit" and you'll find that what you've done is judged this singer by worldly standards. There is nothing spirited about "judging" anyone. And thus, judging is NOT trying the spirit by the spirit because the spirit isn't in the business of judging. HE judges, and that is all that constant. Good day.

  • @TheQuantum09 I'm trying your spirit, which I sense is jealous of Wilson's talent. But fear not what God has for you is for you

  • It is high time to take your communities back, one by one. Move your dependence back from government to God. If you notice way back in the 1920-1960 era, blacks faced harder times than we ever faced today. However, our families stuck together, our men worked at any job, we had solidarity. What happened? We took our eyes off the prize, and put it on the Govt. Now we are at a crossroads. Brothers & Sisters.."Keep the praises of God in your mouth and a two-edged sword in your hand "

  • HE'S GROWN SO MUCH FROM HiS "EYE iS ON THE SPARROW" ViD STiLL GOT THAT HiGH OCTAVE GOiN WOW!

  • He was just a kid cut him some slack his voice had not to long changed. Church people are so critical!!!

  • @Gospelspecialist I respect your opinion, but you can't say that because Cedric a.k.a KC had much better voice on him when HE was a kid when he was singing with the Hailey singers. It makes me wish Cedric was still in gospel. HE probably could have hit this WAY better than Bryan Wilson attempted to do. LOL. Maybe I AM critical, but when it comes to the making the ANOINTING known in WHATEVER you do(singing, playing, and ESPECIALLY preaching)I have every right to be.

  • I'm gonna get a couple of more thumbs down for this, but oh well. He reminds me of that kid from America's funniest home videos trying to sing.

  • I know that I will probably get alot of thumbs down for what I'm about to say, but I'm going to say it anyway. Wilson is just making a whole bunch of NOISE. A LOT of riffing, NO anointing whatsoever. I'm young, but I've heard enough REAL singers (Rev. James Moore, Jerome Williams) to know that the ANOINTING makes ALL of the difference.

  • You better SAAANNNGGG Black boy!!!! I love this, keep singing for the Lord. The run at 4:10 was good, 4:45 he had it when he said Bad. I love what he said and how he said at 5:10-5:22. YES!!, Lord that high note at 5:38 had me speaking in tongues.

  • He did this... I almost went under here in my house! Yes...

  • the boy is so gifted as he sang he left my mouth wide open ..this was behold expectations..

  • Horrible version, why do they think everything has to change with time. I still love it when sung the original way.

  • To SirGensis777, David danced out of his clothes and call that not praising God! John, Fred, Donald, Marvin Sapp and Winans, Donnie, Shirley, and all the great gospel greats, sang to the glory of God and do riffs and runs and high notes and low notes, Bryan, you know is gonna clown on a classic like this and God is gonna get some sho nuff glory, YT crew I got it from here, peace to all those that know and all those just finding out, LGKids, nice to meet you!

  • man i wish you would preach to..lol i'd love to hear you hoop...

  • You better saaaaaaaaang! lol Keep singing for the Lord.

  • the pianist was great...so was bryan!!! GLORY!!!

  • Lord have mercy wen he hit high that note i went crazy!!! HE IS TRULY BLESSED!!!

  • that was so amazing....

  • that was so amazing....

  • Nice singing! But, who is that piano player?? My God! that's what's making it sound so great!. Go on Brother! Sang..

  • i love that he invokes a desire to worship God...that for me is the ANOINTING. Not for self profit, but to get others to join and worship.

  • Now that's great talent.

  • Jesus!!!!

  • he sounds great!!!

  • the purpose of the chior was? he tore it up on his own!!

  • This guy is so powerful since his younger dayz

  • Oh my God the ending gave me chills.

  • mmm

  • where there is god...there is liberty..and if your doing something for god..then i believe he blesses u for it....and if not for u for somebody else...

  • @1thegentlemen Amen !!

  • yo momma can't sing. your nothing but the devil don't knock him because like the bible says what God blesses can't no man curse and it also says don't mess with my annointing

  • @karmettya

That's the bible that's the book. He annointed for what he does. I love him, he's one of my mentors.

  • Great! God bless you all people

  • I believe you there too SirGenesis777 men should never be applaused for it is of their own nature and not of the nature of God.

  • If someone stands on stage and sings like this, it's a performance, end of story. Whether or not he was worshipping God is irrelevant, the fact that he has done it in such a manner in front of a large audience has undermined any spirit of worship he may have evoked to begin with.

Worship brings glory to God and abases the man, this does not. Men should not receive applause for praising God, it's a contradiction.

Please find me an example from scripture of this kind of behaviour.

  • @SirGenesis777 you hhave got to be kidding me! I dont think you even believe the nosene you are babbling about!!! Go serve and quit being the author of CONFUSION!!!!

  • Like I said, please show me a positive example of this kind of behaviour from the scriptures.

I have only seen a handful of similar events, and I must say that the Lord doesn't seem overly pleased with those people.

  • Mat 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

Mat 6:6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

  • @SirGenesis777

I definitly understand where ur coming from. This can big issue being a musian. Singing Gospel is not like singing or playing a piece a classical music. The object is 2 Glorify God. The reson y most people dont understand is b/c the anointing is misundestood by them. The anionting is very complex n that it is able 2 go past the music notes on a page & touch the heart.

  • @SirGenesis777 W that said just because u have a good technique & u can sing with feeling it doesn't mean u have the anionting or that u'r glorifying God. The anointning comes when a person has lived what they're singing. Criticizing This young man while you don't know what he has lived is a little bit much. Let God be the Judge of things. Especially on a public site like this. God could use this video to touch a sinners heart to maybe come to Christ.

  • Just want to throw out a few scriptures to you. Psalm 66:4, Psalm 150:6, and Proverbs 27:2. I pray that this will shed some light on prais and worship and maybe you need to learn what praise and worship and the difference in performance.

  • He sounds like a student of James Moore.

  • Marvelous!!!

  • - the pianist was wonderful too

  • wow. just wow. i am speechless. this is what you call a singer. it's too bad you don't have many around in the music industry these days.

  • Look at that swoop in his head (LOL). I remember my uncle did that to my brother's and my head when we where younger. Thank God that is played out now. I remember one time I told my uncle to cut it off my head.

  • haha...actually it's back in style now. the gumby fro's and all....

  • LOL. That is a shame. But I guess I cant be shocked because so many things are in style now .....

  • The pastor's son at my church still had that little ugly swoop in his head. He just got it cut a couple of weeks ago. That thing was a hot mess. lol. Thank God, he got it cut

  • LOL..... I few weeks ago.... I am going to need him to have gotten rid of that a long time ago like before he was born LOL.

  • A voice like Bryan is God given and because its God Given he should use his voice as much and as often as he can to spread the GOOD NEWS! There is no denying this young man has a wonderful voice, but if someone is focusing on his vocal talent versus the words in the song and the meaning, then that individual person came to just hear him sing, but I think its wrong for someone to JUDGE Bryan by saying he is not worhiping GOD, but performing.

  • Comment removed

  • well i think u cant say he is not worshipping god in the clip beacuse just like bishop trotter said u dont know his story all the thing that he been through to get where he at who is we to say that his worship is not for real

  • I'm glad people know the difference between a performance and worship, cuz this is definitely not worship, 100% performance, but you still can't deny the fact that's he's got good voice.

  • HE GET IT FROM HIS MOM

  • I have to always look at this...he went hard!!!

  • What an amazing singer!

  • jessroy2004 is right. This is a performance, not worship. In true worship, God is the centre of attention, not the singer.

As a performance, I'm stunned, this guy has amazing talent. It's just a shame that so many talented singers sell themselves under the guise of worship.

True worship comes from a humble spirit, not one standing in the centre of the stage being applauded for his abilities. Nowhere in scripture will you find someone worshipping the Lord to the sound of applause.

  • i agree

  • In that case,KCS is not worship, because God knows she can show out, neither Kim Burrell, or Donnie ,Yolanda . YOU don't know the deinition of worship since you narrowly define it in such a way. You have no idea what the young man was going thru, was feeling at the time, nor what the audience was able to derieve from his inspiring performance. You can speculate certainly, but only God knows the heart, and it's true intent, which 'Worship' and priase is subsequently drawn from!!!

  • Shocked Me with that High note. OMG!!!!!!!!

  • Mrs. Byran Wilson can sing honey he is working this song.

  • Bryan Wilson?? Look at him all grown. The same kid who sung in the Mississippi Children's Mass Choir.

  • Have mercy 1:03. Go ahead boy

  • WOW mane just WOW! and to respond to what somebody said on here. The people didnt have to focus on the words, b'c you FEEL GOD all through this!

  • He is praising just as much as the choir and the musicians are... try not to be so negative with your comments, and who are you to say where someone's heart is?

  • Wow, I've never heard a guy hit a note that high, and sound so good doing it. He IS blessed!

  • That was amazingly talented! My only problem is that the main focus of this entire performance seems to be on this young man, and not the Great Big God he is singing about. People didn't react to the words that he sang, they reacted to the smooth runs that he did. If this is a church service, then the focus needs to be directed upward.
