  • holy wind

  • noob

  • why the uniform???

  • mauvaises munitions bad ammo elles n'ont pas la meme charge qu'a l'époque lol^^

  • @MrJeuxvideos

    I think its the weapon...

  • tune up anyone? a nice gun like this deserves to be restored. get some new parts for this gun! And could anyone please help me find a stg44 semi automatic only here in the states???? i know in 2009 there were ammo boxes for 10.50 like 20 rounds i think? thats almost a full clip. Stg used 30 rounds in its clip. cod sucks dick too fucken faggits, red orchestra 2 is the closest thing to a real stg when it comes to video games. every game fucks it up with unrealistic recoil and horrible precision bs

  • @lonewolf060 I can put you in touch with a guy who manufactures STG44 boxes. Prvi Partizan ammunition is hard to come by but it's really good stuff, especially for the Sturmgewehr. Plus it's reloadable.

  • idiot

  • at least this guy are shooting a real gun and not a airsoft gun !

  • so this guys dress up like nazis and shoot ww2 guns ? nice !

  • You can just tell how much the AK-47 is based off the STG-44.

  • Cool !

  • lousy strong tapping showing me that owner of that weapon is possibly arogant .... and obviously he forget to take care about his magazines as the spring inside of magazine got worn out.. get a hammer, that goes better with your style!

  • It would have been a good idea to put your hand next to the mic so that the recording doesn't get that loud "wind blast" sound.

    But nice video nonetheless.

  • the stg was made before the ak47.

  • quel nase

  • but nice video:)

  • 10,000-15,000 dollar really ???? i,am german and her its cost about 400-500 euro

  • @fiskeman92 Well, yeah - that's probably for a remake. The originals are definitely worth 10-15k, easily.

  • @wahttehfuk

ololol maybe i should sell my grandpa´s then :o

  • @fiskeman92 There's a German company called Sport-Systeme Dittrich that is making modern reproductions of the MP44 (and the MP40, FG42, etc.) and there about as close to the originals as you can get. There's also another company called German Sports Guns thats coming out with a .22lr version that comes out in the $500 range.

  • There's a big diffrence between using the gun and knowing how to use the gun.

  • The shooter are in a bad shooting position. My old H&K G3 had to be hold in a firm grip and tight to my shoulder or it could jam. By his reaction to kick and the jam, I sense a lack of familarity to the weapon. He seem almost affraid of the kick. I think he needs a couple of hundred rounds on a range with it. That should cure him :-)

  • @FysikFyren

Yeah, hence the reason he said "I don't know shit about these guns" at 0:35 so I suppose he's new.

  • Sterbe du russiches ashloch

  • it looks weird to see an american shooting a Sturmgewehr44 in a SS- uniform.

sometimes i think youve got more of them as we germans :D

  • hure pfiffe!

  • the 44 is the pre from the ak74

  • @klangmotorik lol at you....

  • @ChrisNunez23 i think so, because the design from the 44 is the same how ak 74, and the released in ww2 und ak74 after (sry for my broken english)

  • @HKMANIAK not to mention people say STG is a rip off of a AK47 which people have no history of.

  • crazy idiot is wearing a SS uniform.pathetic :S

  • i wish they made some more. if i ever bought an STG 44 i would never fire it, i would keep it clean and put it up for display.

  • not to sound like an nazi now but dont you think the germans had coller guns and uniforms than the americans

  • @Agge200 its a established fact

  • The Stgw.44 was the most innovative rifle of the 20th century. It lay the basis of all assult rifles that followed after WW2.

  • @Fruitjoke yes, the term "assault rifle" is a direct translation of sturmgewher

  • @drglibrl i thought it was storm rifle

  • @bulletz4life yes.... "storm"- way of saying- "assault" . same thing. Sturmgeshutz (StuG) = ASSAULT gun

  • reliable German engineering at it's finest.

  • stupid amis -.-

  • They don't make these anymore, do they?

  • Da sieht man gleich der dumme Ammi ist eben Qualität Mande in Germany nicht gewohnt! Der kennt nur die Pressholz Spielzeug Waffen! Alleine der Sherman war totaler Dreck!!!!

  • @HKMANIAK And btw the stg44 is still better than the m4 as a battle rifle.

  • geil

  • thats why you dont put commie made mags in the weapon of the Furher!! lol

  • @HKMANIAK WTF do kids not study history anymore? An MP44 vs an M4, and I thought it was just tv made people dumb! Now COD is on the list too :)

  • @HKMANIAK I'd say some WW2 equipment has some advantages to modern day equipment. The STG44 is more powerful then the M4 for one.

  • typical no one cleaned it befor it got used hahahahaha

  • Some facts:

    Polte Maschinenfabrik- cartridge developer

    Walther Suhl Mkb42(W)

    Haehnel Zella Mehlis Mkb42(H)

Until 1945 99% (except Mauser) German small weapon manufacturers were based in later called "Eastern Germany". As well as now famous companies as "Audi", "BMW" Automobile production, Junkers Flugzeugwerke, Heinkel etc.

    Best regards

  • Only my thoughts as a (West) German

As both the cartridge and the weapon have been developed and produced in what was called "Eastern Germany" after 1945 .

You should instead base your evaluation on war/ post war production circumstances.

  • @ingo1971

  • interesting that a german made mag will not work properly in a german made mg!

  • @LPcustom76 Meh, it was East German. Quality wasn't priority back then.

  • @ChivKnight, it might not be that it's poor quality, but just worn.

  • Just because a weapon is old does not mean that given a certain tactical situation you cannot come out on top. There are other very important factors such as the element of surprise, range, and individual discipline, and luck which must be taken into consideration when talking tactics. A person armed with an inferior weapon can beat a person armed with a weapon which is considered superior.

  • @matthewjdenn

You planning on going back in time to fight the Germans or something? It's just a great weapon for its time, if not the best.

  • @matthewjdenn the stg sucks soo bad its not like an m4 with rails and lasers and grips and optics. and it has wood and that makes it suck,

    its a joke ppl

  • @matthewjdenn Correct. However, you must also take into account who has the nuclear warhead strapped to his back. Because complex experiments have shown that the power of a nuke will outmatch a standard rifle...

  • @matthewjdenn What type of round is it is it 7.62

  • @dopedpanda nope, its 7.92 x 33

  • @1993heavenshallburn does it have the same power as a 7.62

  • @dopedpanda i dont really know, i think the 7.62 is a bit better because the 7.92 is basically a shorter and less powerful rifle cartridge.

  • @1993heavenshallburn You don't remember German history, toward the end of the war, Germany was nearly exhausted in metals, the shorter cartridge was made on purpose as to save material and not waste.

You cannot compare 7.62 to a WWII rifle, it did not exist then. 7.92 was more powerful than the American Thompson .45 cal.

  • @diamondmoney007: East German magazines do not work well with the STG44. And that STG44 is worth something like $10,000-15,000.

  • @matthewjdenn The guy said it was a reproduction,,, maybe thats why it jams so much

  • @diamondmoney007 The STG44 is no piece of shit. If the Germans had it erlier in the war, they would have been closer to winning. STG44 = awesome gun 5/5

  • @diamondmoney007 Stick to cod poorfag.

  • @diamondmoney007

you look like a piece of shit you FAGGOT

  • @gpay88 Fuck you Motherfucker,,,,, I agree it was a great gun for its time,, but the one they are showing here looks like it he is having problems with it,,,,, but fuck you anyway, I would beat your ass punk,, Your the FAGGOT

  • @diamondmoney007

hahha,go back and play COD you worthless fag. This gun is worth far more than you you piece of shit. STG44 is a great gun. You fag cunt cod noob

  • spanking the mag won't pleasure it into working. lol :D

  • He learned that in the Army. Ever heard of SPORTS?

  • Yes I have, I was in the Marine Corps. It was a joke, calm down captain. XD lol

  • Okay.

  • SturmGewehr 1944 [ 7.92x33mm > your lucky to get 2 shoot one nice vid !

  • idiot??

  • ncie graphic! which graphiccard do you use ? xD

  • I have a 512 MB Radeon 9600 Pro. Why do you ask?

  • ok, thats something which came into my mind a bit after having posted my last comment.

    of course it makes sense.

African countries also use them as left overs, yeah. the only one who got new weapons is Aegypt as it started to cooperate with Russia.

Do you know where they produced your magazines ?

I can not imagine a place they did it 'cause of the facts I already posted.

During WW2,most weapon manufactures were around Berlin, as far as I know.

Maybe the Sowjets did not close all of them.

  • The MP44 magazines do not belong to me so I cannot answer your question, unfortunately. However, if you really want to know I can ask a friend to chime in and he can answer that for you. All that I can say at this point is that they are East German magazines.

The Africans generally take anything they can get their hands on when it comes to firearms.

  • Yeah, a few have been reported in the African countries that are located in the "Horn of Africa" in countries like Somalia, Ethiopia, Djibouti, and Eritrea. Now, by a few I mean like a handful and who the hell knows how they got there.

  • Russia often gave socialist and communist revolutionaries and guerrillas or governments Eastern Bloc firearms. My guess is that the Russians had some MP44s warehoused and they decided to give them to a country in Africa that was socialist or communist, and they've been distributed from there. The big question is; where the hell are they getting their 7.92x33 ammunition? *We* have a hard time getting it here in America. About the only place that sells 7.92x33 is Prvi Partizan.

  • Now that you mention that, I remember hearing that the Soviets manufactured and repackaged lots of 7.92x33mm ammunition and sent it along with the weapons to "friendly" revolutionary groups.

  • That makes perfect sense. No sense in giving children toys without batteries.

  • Yeah, the Soviets would give weapons to pretty much any socialist or communist revolutionary group in the world. The U.S. would then give weapons and aid to the opposing side to try and prevent the revolutionaries from taking over. So, both superpowers would indirectly fight a conflict. Kind of interesting lol.

  • DiD East-Germany make Sturmgewehr?

  • There was no East Germany in WW2, it was all Germany just like it is again today.

  • East Germany manufactured reproduction magazines for the stocks of Stg44s that they had on hand from the Second World War. As far as producing new Sturmgewehrs, I do not believe that they manufactured new Sturmgewehrs after WW2, but do not quote me on that.

  • first:Germany was not as it was today in WW2

'cause there still was "Preußen" which had been erased from the maps by the Americans after the

WW2. Preußen was the symbol of militarism in Germany, that's the reason why. To get rid of the old traditions inGermany...all that was part of the so-called "Reeducation".

second: no, they did not produce any new assault rifles("Sturmgewehre")in the sowjet zone. neither did they in the DDR. They got all their equipment from Russia.

  • You are right about Prussia, although Russia had much more to do with erasing and annexing East Prussia than America did. The USSR was the nation that occupied most of Eastern Europe until 1989. About your second point: I said that East Germany manufactured new magazines, not new STG44s. Those magazines are being fired in the STG44 which you see in my video.

  • yes, i got that point.

i just posted an answer to your last sentence:

"As far as producing new Sturmgewehrs, I do not believe that they manufactured new Sturmgewehrs after WW2, but do not quote me on that."

i am just asking myself why they produced them. Germany was demilitarized after WW2(including the sowjet zone)

in the DDR they had an armed "Volkspolizei" but they did not get assault rifles until joining the Warshaw Pact in '55.

  • i know that they did not produce any new STG44 or other weapons 'cause all weapon manufactures were closed and abolished, so that Germany(western and sowjet part)could not produce any weapons and magazines anymore.

i also do not see any sense in making new magazines for those rifles in the sowjet zone after being occupied by the UdSSR.

you are really sure that those magazines were produced in the DDR ?

  • RainbowShaker,

The East Germans had many STG44s left over and they put them to use. The West German police, for example, used the P38 (renamed the P1) in the decades after the Second World War. If you already have some STG44s, why not use them to complement your arsenal? Think about it. They used them until the AK-47 was introduced to East Germany. The Volkspolizei used them until approximately 1962, and Yugoslavia also used them and they are still in use in Africa and the Middle East.

  • Hey Matt, I have a few of those DDR mags. If they won't fit in my MP-44, I think I can reshape them a bit so they do work. The original mags I have should work fine, as will the repros that Dave uses.

  • Alright.

  • Noob...

  • Oh shut up. You'd be lucky if you even got to shoot a damned BB gun in Spain, let alone an MP44.

  • hmm..............intresting sabotaging the magazines

  • What are you talking about?

  • Do you think the east germans sabotaged the magazines during the manufacturing?

  • It's possible, but my guess is that it has to do more with their lack of incentive to produce quality magazines because of the full blown communism forced upon them by the Russians.

  • Nahhh.. it's just crappy quality control, plain and simple. I have a few of these East German mags.

  • Also, I just remembered that this is a reproduction magazine. Many reproduction magazines are notoriously poor in terms of quality. I think the magazine was way too tight, the tolerances were off, and the magazine was seating the bullets at an incorrect angle in the chamber so that when they went into battery in the receiver they jammed sideways in the MP-44.

  • Yeah, that does make more sense. BTW its pretty neat to see an actual MP44 being fired in this video. This is the first footage I've seen of one being fired in modern day!

  • I've got more footage of me shooting one, which will be up on YouTube when I get the footage for that particular DVD. Although this video is footage that I took, I am STILL copying and backing up footage from friends from this machine gun shoot. (We had a lot of footage!)

The MP44 is truly a revolutionary firearm. It is really a joy to shoot, although it take practice. It pulls up and to the right on fully automatic and you have to compensate.

  • I agree that MP44 is a truly revolutionary firearm! I saw the ww2 footage of this gun with the curved barrel extension for shooing around corners while staying out of sight! They said the bullets would break up in the barrel and have a scatter gun effect when exiting. In many ways, that would work to the advantage of the shooter. Now if that wasn't revolutionary I don't know what is!

  • ok man, a know ,but there is some problem with the magazine i think.

  • We know there is a problem with the magazine. That's why the video is entitled, "East German Magazines Jam a Sturmgewehr 44."

  • What the fuck is that man doing with the mp44 and the emp40 in another video?

  • He's shooting.

  • Yep.. he's shooting. I think all of them were shooting that day. We should all go some more shooting. Want to do another shoot next year, Matt?

  • Hell yes I do!

  • I'd like to know what you think he is doing in the video!?! We have the smart ones coming to our videos, right Matt?

  • Aligreta, this man with the MP44 that you are talking about lives in a magical place called Minnesota. It is a state in the United States of America. In the United States of America, we have something called Amendments, which are Amendments to the Constitution and they protect our inalienable rights. The 2nd Amendment, in particular, gives this man the right to shoot an MP44 and *gasp* an MP40! Both! In one day! At the same place! You don't even have to show your papers to the GESTAPO!

  • I don't know if he is questioning right to bear arms here - strange that he points out that something is wrong with the mag even though this is the title - maybe not too bright and thinks we are brushing our teeth with the guns?

  • It says that he is from Spain in his profile. So maybe his comprehension of English isn't at a level where he can understand the title. Maybe he just can't believe that a man can be so privileged or maybe he just can't comprehend why someone would want to shoot more than one gun in a day. Maybe someone can explain it to me, becuase I sure as hell don't know why he's so incited about it.

  • Let's give him a chance then. Perhaps we should invite him to the next shoot to see what we are doing!

  • Sounds good.
