  • Wagner got away with murder

  • Too bad you don't have the whole documentary on here.

  • Wagner has been guilty for 30 years, I can't believe that 30 years ago they just right away ruled Natalie's drowning as accidental. She is one of my fav actresses and I am so angry because she would still be here today if only that Wagner asshole did not leave her in the water to die

  • I probably am the youngest person here who loves Natalie Wood and her beautiful films likr West Sife Story and Splendor in the Grass. I'm only 24 but love classic movies and classic movie actresses like Natalie Wood infinitely more beautiful than today's movies and actresses. Angelina Jolie and Merryl Streep are nothing compared to Natalie.

  • "We don't give a crap about you, just tell us about James Dean."

  • Always ignored among the many wonderful scenes in Rebel is the quiet moment when James Dean pulls into his driveway and finds Natalie Wood waiting for him, unexpectedly. It's been so long I barely remember but to have a girl you desperately want to see appear unbidden is one of the great moments in a young man's life. Even if you don;t touch her, she's there!

  • Natalie Wood was about as Hollywood as you can get. We dont get any more like her in this age. She was incredible.

  • Most beautiful woman ever, atleast in my opinion!

  • Mr Lawford was part of the murder cover-up of Marilyn Monroe.

  • I wonder if Wagner's pal Jerry Brown [Governor of California] is going to allow a full on investigation this time bearing in mind that he was in office back in 81 when there was no investigation whatsoever! The reason I believe there was whitewash is the fact that the coroner conducting the inquest into Natalie's death was fired for wanting a proper investigation! Who on earth has the power to fire a coroner! Exactly! RIP Natalie, you were worth a thousand Wagner's, Powers and ST john's!!

  • @1whamster Jerry Brown dated Natalie in 1971. Are you joking or is Brown really a pal of Robert Wagner?

  • @vanessalove182 Yes of coarse she dated Brown back in 71 when she split up with Warren Beatty! Jerry Brown is also an old pal of Wagner! BTW thanks for asking

  • why does all her pictures and interviews look so recent?

  • @TCorpExec I know, it's so weird...

  • @TCorpExec

That is so true, you read my mind. She looks so modern and her photos loos look so recent even though she died 30 yrs ago.

  • @nema1218 Some of them do. But the ones that I've been seeing in all these articles/TV shows do not, they use pictures from when she was a teenager made up to look older than she was in "old Hollywood" style.

  • Natalie Wood was worth a thousand Stephanie Powers and even more Jill St John's! Wagner you are an idiot, you should have went in after her and searched with every fibre and ounce of strength you had, like the man/husband you were supposed to be! I would have went into the water for my dog let alone a wife who was a beautiful, talented, articulated, thoughtful, sweet, kind, lady, who certainly wouldn't have let you drown that night!! RIP Natalie you may be gone but you'll never be forgotten! Xx

  • @MrWhamster1 ---Couldn't agree more! Perfectly said!!!

  • @MrWhamster1 - YOU Took those words, right, out of my MOUTH!! I STILL, think - he said, what he said. He's one SNEAKY SOB. Simply JEALOUS, of her career ****

  • @MrWhamster1 Agreed!! Why didn't he? Drunk??? (good interview, Peter--Ms Wood, so articulate)

  • @windstorm1000 I Don't know! I would have cherished Natalie like my own child! Goodness me they were together long enough to know each others in- discrepancies to allow for all that! :D

  • Thank God for the CAMERA. Thanks to the CAMERA she's never gone, but still here with us.

  • Natalie had a great, articulate, gentle female voice.

  • I'm young, so I have absolutely no attachment to Robert Wagner... seems like a lot of people LOVE this guy, like he's a god. All I see is a drunk, jealous husband who was unbelievably negligent in the death of his wife...

  • @1982Lennon If your screen name tells your age, you're not even 30, so yes you are quite young :) Here's how I've always felt about Robert Wagner. I thought from a little girl watching him in "Switch" and "Hart to Hart" that he was very suave and handsome. However, there was always something that seemed to "pull" me away from him. I could never quite get into him, or have a crush on him or anything. I didn't understand why, but now I think that was a good thing.

  • @snoops71 Snoops, like Robert Wagner, I'm also suave and very handsome. Would you like to play with my wooly mammoth ?

  • @snoops71 It was worth a try !

  • I really wish she had never met Robert Wagner...

  • @1982Lennon Me too. I think he is a sly snake.

  • interviewer looks like peter lawford

  • @strawberryscent1 you're confusing her w/ someone else b/c she was only 16 when she acted with Dean (he was 24) then he died a few months later. She was not involved with him, and he was gay anyway so I think the woman you're referring to was just a beard.

  • @locotaco10 *eye roll* James Dean was not gay. If you read up on him, you would know that his personality centered around his curiosity and his ability to complete a goal and then lose interest. It was not surprising at all for him to explore his sexuality but it does not render him gay. If that was the case 54% of women today would be gay under the whole "I kissed a girl and I liked it" philosophy.

  • @The4RealFan Well Elizabeth Taylor said that he was gay at a benefit and I don't think she would lie!

  • @Irishmodel78 Prove it.

  • He pushed her intentionally to end her life. He knew she wouldn't make it if she fell in the water [he threatened to throw her out of his boat that's why she went on land for 2 days, but came back thinking he wouldn't REALLY kill her]. She caught him with Christopher sniffing each other's holes [like dogs]. She threatened to tell the public and he got really mad and wanted to destroy her sooner before the news broke out because back then it was horrific to be found you're "gay".

  • @strawberryscent1 That wasnt Natile Wood, they were only friends. You mean Pier Angeli, an Italian actres James Dean met while filming East Of Eden/ He fell in love with Pier and she wasnt strong enough to stand up to her mother who didnt approvel. She maried someone else, someone her mother approved of but it ended badly.

  • Oh no they cut it off before she could answer.

  • @cokotuossurdum She was an american born actress idiot not Russian besides how can you ppl be so cold this woman was killed by her husband

  • she must of needed a good fly swatter when she left the house

  • Comment removed

  • she's so brilliant

  • Love her big, doe eyes.

  • I justs noticed that she wears the same ring on her right pinky I saw on many pictures, who knows if that ring hada meaning to her, anyway, so beautiful and soft spoken

  • hot damn !! just super classy hot smart eloquent sexy everything!!! NOTHING 1/8 of her star quality today :/

  • @Jako32 I completely agree. Natalie Wood had beauty, talent, and class that remains unmatched to this day! She lit up the silver screen like no other!!

  • Shame. She was so beautiful.

  • Natalie was "the bomb" in the 1960s.

  • What kind of wood doesn't float? Natalie Wood.

  • @Jefgg u made my day LOL......

  • @Jefgg what kind of comments suck?jeffgg comments

  • @Jefgg Thats an Old Howard Stern Joke from 1981 and it was tasteless-Its also crude and offensive Natalie Wood's family may be watching this video so watch your words and get come class

  • @InfinityNebula Screw anyone who can't take a joke.

  • @Jefgg So if her daughter Natasha was to see your offensive comments thats ok with you? How would you like it if your parent died and was made fun of Imbecile? Get some class jerk

  • @InfinityNebula Lighten up. Are you with the youtube police celebrity division? Celebrities are fair game for humor and satire. You should focus your anger on the cops who may have screwed up the investigation of Natalie Wood's death.

  • @Jefgg Celebrities are fair game for humor and satire but you don't fucking crack jokes on someone who died, was probably murdered, who did nothing to you or anyone else. Lighten up? How about have some consideration and maturity?

  • Pure beauty...inside and out.

  • Ir is no QUESTION that their was a cover-up in the first investigation in 1981

I expect to see a trial on In Session or HLN and I expect many celebrities to take the stand Wagner will probably be tried for MURDER

  • Im sure Wagner and Walken are terrified they both may be responsible for Natalie's death Someone will finally be arrested for Murder which will give closure

  • she is beautiful and very soft

  • robert wagner was responsible for this beautys death..that asshole

  • thats natural beauty at its finest folks...

  • @loslakers530 Amen to that!

  • Absolutely Stunning!

  • hot hot hot

  • she's so beautiful love her...SO SAD THAT SHE'S GONE :(

  • thanks

  • can someone find out what year was this interview?

  • @intheband2 The year of this interview was 1974,and was done due to the fact that the following year would be the 20th since Deans death.

  • @intheband2 the documentary/special that it is part of premiered in 1975. it could have been filmed in 1974 but i don't think it was. she was about 36 here.

  • @vanessalove182 Dont let the banner in the background fool you(1955-1975) this documentary was both filmed and aired in 1974...You can find this info at the internet movie database(imdb)and at other sources.

  • she was so beautiful

  • Natilie Wood is so hot!

  • I had such a crush on her.....smile she is so sweet

  • She's a true legend. Loved her in "The Great Race".

  • The most incredible chemistry was between her and Redford. To this day.

  • @lorindalew I agree. Her and Redford were the best couple in the history of movies!

  • Chet Baker was the original rebel with out a cause and he probably influenced the character of the movie chet baker was living that life in the late forties , and chet baker was crazy he was a junkie he manipulated people to get what he wanted he was a con man and womanizer, people close to him claimed that he drove fast he loved speed , read this book: Deep in a Dream: The Long Night of Chet Baker

  • Now this is how a good interviewer should be, close caring with depth

  • elvis's girlfriend

  • @paginipro briefly, when she was 18. very briefly. so brief that they never "did it"

  • My favorite actress. Ever. Natalie, you are dearly missed.

  • James Dean blazed a trail for.. Alice Cooper??

  • which year she died?

  • @nikolajovan1 november 29 1981

  • She didn't have to sleep her way to the top , she had way to much talent , how can you talk about the dead when they can't defend themselves .

  • @moproducer she began appearing in movies at age four. Unlikely she "slept her way" to get into films at that age.

  • @listentome94 Go read a biography or two.

  • @moproducer You're right. But she was only 16 and the director was 43. I think he should be blamed for this, not her. If that happened today, he would be in jail.

  • @vanessalove182 You're absolutely correct.

  • Never saw a prettier 16 year old girl then Natalie in "Rebal without a cause" even more stunning then Liz Taylor at the same age, they dont make like that anymore!!!

  • @countys32 Natalie looked much older than 16 in that movie, which is not a good thing. She never had normal teenage life. Went straight from childhood into the beds of older men.

  • @locotaco10 Well you know yourself that young girls can be done up to look a lot older then they are, I'd say that was the case for Natalie in Rebel, forget about her teenage life the Jurys still out on how she actually drowned, loads of questions still unanswered!!!

  • @locotaco10 But what's a "normal" teenage life? Rotting in the vague obscenity of public school, nearly driven out of your mind by the crawling boredom, socializing with mostly vacuous idiots, dragging through the minor traditions which pass for school-related entertainment (dances, proms, etc.), and exhibiting a near-Herculean patience until you could be free of it? What could she have possibly missed which had any value? Nothing.

  • She gives me wood

  • Honestly, she is so stunningly beautiful.

  • What a wise and intelligent woman she developed into.Besides being so beautiful, she seemed to have been very human, loving, giving, sensitive and unique.A life cut much too short.

  • @tismurdis Natalie Wood was indeed a beautiful and talented woman. I loved her and I loved James Dean. Two lives gone way way too soon.

  • ooh shes nice

  • The most stunning and talented star ever! RIP Natalya!

  • Damn she was hot. What a Tragic Loss.

  • she had a killer body, and there was no gimmicks back then.

  • She was a true movie starShe made some of the greatest movies ever.Check out

Splendor in the Grass to see what I mean.

  • absolutely beautiful she was.

  • @thhorrorthepain she probably had a temper like everyone has.

  • @stebuzz57 didn't matter; she was still beautiful

  • Sorry Diane Lane doesnt hold a candle to Natalie Wood and neither does Zeta-Jones

  • @InfinityNebula There was only only one Natalie! There is no one like her or the 'next' her. She was a great actress who died in a terrible accident.

  • @JerseySurvivor She was incredibly beautiful and was incredible to see act- however she didnt die in an accident it appears that Robert Wagner killed her either in a jealous rage or so he could marry that woman Jill he married a few months after Natlie was killed and live off her estate-how tragic~!

  • @InfinityNebula I knew Nat & RJ briefly in the late 70's when I stayed with friends on Canon. I last saw her in NY in Sept/Oct 81. Great people. It was a horrible tragedy. I can understand people wanting to say the things they do, but one should consider the feelings of her family. She had three daughters who took her death very hard and at this point it makes little sense to continue to propigate such rubbish.

  • @JerseySurvivor Natalie's sister wants the investigation into her death reopened because its apparent she's not satisfied with the story given by Wagner. Its also apparent that her daughter's may want the case reopened RJ's story just doesnt hold up .So its not the people on here that would like closure its also her family-Natalie Wooid was terrified of water and could not swim, if Wagner was responsible he should come forward instead of being a coward this case must be reopened

  • @JerseySurvivor Being concerned about the investigation into her death is not a bad thing whats not cool is the rumors that Natalie was a whore who slept with anyone to achieve success and get roles in film now those stories are tragic but they are out there those stories actually hurt the family Not the investgation into her death

  • @JerseySurvivor She did not have 3 daughters, she only had 2. And her daughters have different fathers.

  • @listentome94 Natalie had 2 "biological' daughters but she considered Katie as one of her own. That doesn't mean to imply that she (Katie) did not have a good rapport with Marion. It was all one big family, There was never any tension. Parties at the house were legendary and nobody was left out. In the end the good times outweigh the bad.

  • @JerseySurvivor Natalie did not consider Katie Wagner as her own. KW never lived with them, she grew up living with her own mother and her maternal half-brothers. Just because Natalie had a good relationship with her step-daughter does not mean she considered her to be her own, that's rubbish.

  • @JerseySurvivor She was murdered. Her death was not an accident. Most of us have learned that by now.

  • @vanessalove182 "most of us have learned" Who is that? The secret society of psychopaths? Stop reading muck raking books and crazy internet postings by people who never spent a minute in the same state as Nat. It was a terrible sad accident and to be speculating 30 years on is ludicrous. Let her rest in peace.

  • @JerseySurvivor You've got your mind made up so I'm not gonna try to convince you othersie, but that doesn't change the fact that she was murdered.

  • @JerseySurvivor Accident or not, the official story is bullshit

  • @InfinityNebula There is not an actress out today that can touch her beauty acting or extraordinary presence on screen my favorite movie is Splendor in The Grass no actress has ever been that Good~! She was exquisite

  • Natalie was one of my favorite actresses too Bad Wagner Killed her~!

  • What a terrible loss for the human race. Natalie was beautiful, intelligent and so articulate. Wagner be damned for what he did.

  • Not to forget THE EAGLES' Glenn Frey, James Dean...the song spells it out, he was a big fan of Dean

  • but your talking about movie role

  • @beepollen1 - Dean's car wasn't meant for the road. It was low. As I recall the young man who hit him simply couldn't see James Dean's car because of it's height.

  • @NolitaDenise James Dean died because the sun blinded him on a curve and the oncoming car- a larger four door sedan also travelling around 60 mph, hit him nearly head on. It was just a random case of being in a blinding spot on the road the same time a car was there. I would guess he was not wearing a seat belt and that alone is often the recipe for death in car accidents.

  • Does anyone else see a bit of resemblance between her and Diane Lane?

  • @12harrypotterfan34 ..Yes, actually i do. Both stunningly beautiful.

  • @12harrypotterfan34 Hell yeah, that's what I was thinking...she looks like a cross btween Diane Lane and Catherine Zeta Jones....she is stunning!!!!

  • This is from late 1975.

  • It is hard to believe it is 30 years since the drowning tragedy. I remember Natalie in the great race, she was lovely and funny.

  • @TheTmny876able The 30th anniversary is still a ways off (November 29). She'd be 72 if she was alive.

  • beautiful and endearing on and off screen you cant take your eyes off her.

  • Wood never banged Dean but both Dennis Hopper & Nicholas Ray were banging Wood during making of Rebel. A big Hollywood star raped her at this time; she never revealed who it was. Some say it was Kirk Douglas. Dean didn't do drugs. Ray & Hopper became major drug casualties. This guy interviewing Wood is Peter Lawford of Sinatra's Rat Pack, a major druggie who pimped Marilyn Monroe to his brother-in-law JFK. He also banged Rita Hayworth (a cold fish) & Nancy Reagan who he said gave the best head.

  • @metamorphosis67 And remember she was only 16 while Ray was 43 and KD was 38. Lots of older guys took advantage of young natalie while she was underage.

  • my she rest in peace she was truly a star

  • I think she may be the most beautiful woman I have ever seen.

  • Stunning and composed...a truly modern beauty. This video is evocative because it is rife with all of the free thinking casualness of the 70s, Everything - their manner, clothes, hair, style of chat - seems so relaxed, sincere...nothing ennervated, self-loving, self-promoting. Only Charlie Rose seems to conduct interviews like this today.

  • What a beauty she was, and so much more "real" than most actresses.

    Too bad she was murdered.

  • @Txsray I thought she drowned?

  • Just love her so. The epitome of class! What a huge loss to all of us. She undoubtedly, had so much more yet to give. I found it so charming and endearing, how she referred to James Dean as simply, "Jimmy". He too had so much more yet to give to us all.

  • sheer beauty, sheer charm, class, style, she is still my all-time favorite,

  • absolutely breathtakingly stunning lady

    a true stunning goddess

    rip natalie

  • she was totally stunning, intelligent, and so beyond talented. her death was so tragic, and sooo stupid -__-

shes was a marvelous actress, and it's sad that there isn't anyone like this anymore.

  • She was gorgeous!

  • she was such an amazing actress, one of the most iconic young girls ever

  • I'm thinking about her as the basis for a character right now!!!

  • The details surrounding her death are strange and tragic. Allegedly, when she fell overboard, an eyewitness heard "Take it easy. We'll be over to get you". "It was laid back", the witness recalled. "There was no urgency or immediacy in their shouts".

  • @grnoodleman it's all explained in that book, "Goodbye Natalie, Goodbye Splendour." It basically says she was murdered, like the other biography on her, except it has all the details.

  • i want to see the rest of this

  • She was very beautiful, but no woman could hold a candle to the ultimate beauty Greta Garbo

  • @greg4161 are u blind?

  • man she looks like this girl i dated from Canada !!! she was hot. heard she drowned in the ocean

  • ALL THE CAST IN RABEL WITHOUT A CAUSE DEAD TOO SOON

JAMES DEAN DEAD IN 24, SAL MINEO DEAD IN 37 AND NATALIE WOOD DEAD IN 43

  • I have a negative image of her having to sleep with the director of "Rebel without a Cause" to get the part.

  • @pjc2475 when she was 16 and he was 43. Poor girl had a terrible mother who allowed older men to take advantage of her.

  • wow peter lawford

  • @glamourennui Thank you. I would also include myself and my friends. The media is known to exaggerate.

  • @TheRonDennis This is actually very true: I uderstand what you mean entirely. It's very hard to find women that articulate, and with an ethereal yet glamorous quality; a sophistication, now in the 21st century. Most women here in Britain, for example, look tacky, are shallow, trashy, nasty, vulgar and soulless. I'm 30, and I can say with rueful honesty that I've rarely met a girl yet who is less than three of those things listed.

  • 29 years since her death and I still miss her. She was truly a beautfiful soul!!! RIP Natalie!

  • So feminin, so beautyful, so woman...

  • Sinatra used peter lawford to get him in with the kennedys. When Lawford was divorced from his kennedy wife Sinatra kicked him down the stairs.

  • @norb1937 yep, and according to a book written by Sinatra's personal valet (for 30 yrs), Natalie --at age 14--was a regular bedmate of Frank's. What a 15 yr old gorgeous girl would see in a balding,spoon-nosed hollow cheeked crooner is beyond me. Anyway its in ther book/

  • @TheClam88 Women love celebrities and people in power. Its a case of life imitating porn just as porn imitates life. Too bad he did'nt get arrested for statutory rape.

  • Natalie Wood sure was a Beautiful Lady!

  • Also, Natalie Wood had a phobia of water and a fear of drowning......isn't it bizarre that she would then ''choose''to go on the deck of a boat in the middle of the night......poor woman, a real beauty and an amazing talent. RIP Natalie xxx

  • @purplelady238 She was murdered, obviously.

  • @vanessalove182 OK To reply on two points, yes I know she was murdered and two: I meant to reply to somebody's previous comment on Peter Lawford. Chill.

  • Wasn't Peter Lawford aroud Marilyn Monroe's house or was there the night she died? He had more than a little bit to do with it I read...

  • @purplelady238 That has nothing to do with Natalie.
