  • Cool.. good luck at the LA regional or wherever ur going this year!!!

  • Are u guys the team from Hermosa Beach?

  • Yes

  • it looks like you are able to control the robot fairly well was that the case?

  • If you want to get from one side of the field to another, it's not bad. If you want to accurately position the robot to the inch to pick up a ball, it's very hard. I'm sure the dynamics will change more once we're running on the real surface and with a trailer.

  • did you already build your '09 bot or did you just slap the wheels onto an old one

  • It's an old robot

  • Thank you so much i have been trying to get film of this on different surfaces

I can not wait till i get to see your team in action your legends in this.

    P.S.Good luck.

  • It is hard to tell in the video, what type of drive is that, are there four seperate gearboxes and motors per wheel, or is it one per side and both left wheels move in the same direction, and both right wheels move in the same direction

  • It looks like 4 wheel tank drive with one Andy Mark single speed gearbox per side.

  • Both wheels on a side are controlled together.

  • FIRST Underground: California Drift

  • is this on regular concrete/cement?

  • I believe it's some type of polished cement. We measured the COF as somewhere between 0.10 and 0.15.
