:o I WISH MY CHARACTER WAS MORE LIKE HER!!!! She was soooo overpowered hahaha I like her :D I would so want what ever she's having in her wine glasses and keep it for a circumstance like this ^_^
My first encounter with Lady of Pain was in Planescape: Torment. The game was describing her as an all mighty powefull Above-Gods entity... I was so into the game, I was afraid of talking to her, as if she had the power to corrupt my saved game! Now that's what I call "Character development".
Funny, there really was a masochist with a deathwish in Planescape: Torment. A young man fell in love with the Lady of Pain, called out for her despite repeated warnings, and died with the happiest smile in his face covered with lacerations.
If you know about Pathfinder, you have to know it's dnd. Think he was saying the same thing my friends and I think: 4th Ed could be good for video games, Dungeon Siege 3 did it pretty well, but it sucks ass for actual table top playing. 3.5/Pathfinder is so much better
@4042516 think he means roleplaying game ... saying latest D&D is mainstreamed dumbdowned garbage? I'm not saying, honestly I don't know... I think that is what HE is saying..
Everything is getting dumbed down rather than improved these days, it would fit a trend..
I'd went for the warlock tiefling again. She might have burnt you before, but that was for loot, not for pleasure. And that demon blood probably boils right through the sheets.
What is this, Lady of Pain waving her hand around like some kind of Jedi? And drinking at the Styx Oarsman? Come on... This isn't Planescape, this is a Travesty. (or, in other words, 4th Edition)
Sigil and various Planescape content has appeared in both 3rd and 4th. 3rd had it mentioned in the DMG, and expanded in the Planar Handbook and the Manual of the Planes. 4th mentioned it in the DMG1 and the Manual of the Planes, and gave it an entire chapter of in-depth examination and description in the DMG2.
Ah, flirting with the Lady of Pain ! What a way to go !
I didn't realize Sigil and the Lady still existed in the 4th Edition. I thought everything related to Planescape had disappeared with the 2nd Edition.
Yeah, planescape basically got folded into the core material of 4e. Sigil is one of the standard planar hubs for adventuring. It's done pretty well. Same with ravenloft and spelljammer. You can find bits of each in the core material.
gonna play some Torment now >_>

@Domigorgon Indeed... I was waiting for her shadow to fall but instead she dumps a large bladed chandelier on him... :( Im quite disappointed.
Did 4th edition somehow do away with Her Serenties flaying shadow? Ugggh...
