  • i am sooooo appreciative of the fact that you didnt play it note for note. its magickal to hear another soul express themselves on the platform of kind of blue. the bass recorder sounds magnificent! a brilliant flavour that suits the song perfectly in a way that a saxophone cant. Please post more recordings of this quality and sort. Also even staright free improvising. I am self taught in music therefore i particularly respond to improvisors! keep on keepin on!

  • Genuis work my friend hope you make more videos like this

  • I'm on the recorder yahoo group and don't normally listen to jazz. So I didn't know who Miles Davis was. But I listened to your video and then went back and listened to the Sax as well. This is a very classy video response. Thanks for sharing it.

  • Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Yahoo recorder group is a great help for us recorder players. That group inspired me to start the YouTube recorder Group/Channel as a compliment to it. Miles Davis' music has always inspired me, too.

  • Thanks for another great effort.

  • Thanks for listening.

  • It's so refreshing to hear recorders play jazz!

You play this very well, too.

  • Thank you! I've loved classic jazz for many many years. I'm hoping to find more possibilities for it on recorder.

  • congratulation for sound, music, interpretation and images

    i like it

  • Thanks! I wish I could play baroque music as well as you.

  • Bravo!

  • Thankyou! You have a very nice version of "My Favorite Things".
