@mywmp24 No I don't, but if you want I can try to scan my instructions, and then send you a download link for them. I'll try scanning them tomorrow, and see if it looks good enough.
@MrShittyG No, there's a link to A2Z toys in the description of this video, that's where I buy them. In the last month, the prices on some of these have increased from $9.99 which they have been for awhile, up to $12.99. The shipping is high no matter where you buy them because you are paying to ship them from Hong Kong. Even with the high shipping, they are still less than LEGO; they have a special of 20 different train items for $189, add another $125 to ship it, and it is still a great deal.
i looked at the website and changed the currency to pounds and everything is less than £15.00 which is really good value if i had a Lego railway i would so buy loads of coaches, track, trucks and engines
@No1TrainzFanz2011 Yes, and what is really sad about all of this, is that Enlighten offers us something that we all want, but that LEGO does not offer...and all for a better price :)
@BeanMeister22 I'm sorry, I really don't want to sound rude, but you shouldn't advertise Enlighten because it is actually a complete Illegal Copy of LEGO. There are many aspects that are the same as LEGO, including Logo's and they have been sued by LEGO. I suspect they will be sued by LEGO again soon, because they are seriously violating Copyright Issues!
@BeanMeister22 LEGO isn't coming down in Quality at all!, You keep lying in you Video's, these set's are nothing compared to LEGO Quality!. LEGO has over $9 Billion Dollars in Revenue, the Enlighten Company is only sold in small areas of the U.S and China, In fact there not sold anywhere else, and are not allowed to be sold anywhere else on the Planet because they are Illegal. You are making Me and my whole Family upset because you keep saying horrible things about LEGO!
@AmazingGalaxy im guessing you havent seen those images that surface the internet to the quality of lego, missing peices, bad prints, technic peices that still have flashing on them. this is only because lego refuses to return to their previous production in denmark, where quality controll was evident.
enlighten has made a step up in their quality before these sets were released, btw, i live in Australia and they're easy to get.

@MITCHELLtheC17 I'm guessing your an absolute idiot. The Headquarters in Denmark produces 90% of the LEGO itself thanks. I have seen images of Quality Control, however there Minor Cases. @AmazingGalaxy this is coming from a person who is shouting to a youtube partner that he is upsetting your family. If you are so against these toys, big deal.
from what i can tell, you of all people has money coming out of your ears.
not many lego train fans have money for more train cars and track they desire to have. if you dont want others to have as much stuff as they like, thats real selfish....
and even though i might be an idiot, sure as hell beats being a selfish prick.
@MITCHELLtheC17 No your just talking about a completely different situation and going completely of track. Hundred's of Million by LEGO because it is the only known renowned Construction Toy ans has been for 60 Years that is why people love it, it's known, and they also buy it because it isn't that expensive at all, and there's always specials too, now move on as I'am.
Lego Used to do that whole "make your own train" thing, selling individual locos and cars, and the Couplings were also like the ones that enlighten carries now. they dropped it, however, when they went from 9 Volt electric to RC. as for Components, i think Lego is the only major toy NOT made in China. they've stayed pretty close to home (Denmark) with parts and manufacturing.
@Soundwave3591 Sadly, these days more and more LEGO parts are made in China and Mexico, and the lower quality of the plastic is starting to show through. The bulk of the parts are still made in Danmark, but on many of the sets I have, China is in the second or thrid position, followed by Mexico.
is enlighten brick in stores? do the engines work for the trains on either the lego or enlighten? im new to trains for legos etc., and also, do you have to buy tracks seprate?
@echopichu123 In the US you can't buy Enlighten bricks in stores, in other countries you might. Right now, the only place I can find them is A2Z Toys in Hong Kong. I'm not sure if any Enlighten trains come with motors, because I don't buy the big Enlighten train sets, I just buy the individual locomotives and railcars. Just like the LEGO trains that don't come with motors, you can always motorize an Enlighten locomotive. It's a neat little trick and I'll show how to do it in a later video.
@echopichu123 Also, if you buy the bigger Enlighten train sets, they do come with track. But remember, not all of the LEGO sets come with track, so when you look for an Enlighten set, you need to look and see if it has track, or if you need to get some.
I have the Enlighten loco, but I converted it into a tank engine which can fit onto your palm, and I have all the rolling stock and a Hymek :) But be careful because the plastic holder for the coupling snaps, and now I can't play with them anymore
@BeanMeister22 Even if you do, they'll break off very easily, so I just store the rolling stock at the back of the sidings near my window bay, and my flatbed's coupling is very loose, so I just store my stationery on it.
@steamengineshooray Here's what I'm going to do. I'm going to replace the complers on some of my favorite Enlighten locomotives and railcars, I'll swap them out with the couplers from the Toy Story Western Chase train set. The Toy Story train does not need the heavy duty couplers, so the Enlighten couplers will be fine. Since these Enlighten couplers are they same as the LEGO couplers on those older LEGO 9v trains. So at least now I know where they came up with the design from.
@crazyracer12 Yeah, but the thing about free postage, is that it is not really free, they just figure the postage cost into the price of the product. So unless it's some special sale, getting free postage is not always as good a deal as it sounds.
Hey I don't own these Enlighten trains but they look much better value for money than the Lego ones. One thing that i think could be improved on these enlightened engines is that the wheelbase should have rods like a real steam engine, but hey for it's price i think I could settle with it, or replace it. I wanted to ask i spotted that the green baseplate in this video isn't lego, where did u get it from and what's it's price? And also do the bricks 'click' together well? or do they get stuck?
@thomasanddiesel The green baseplate is LEGO, it's set #626 and it came from the LEGO store, and they sell them at the LEGO website too. They are the same size as the blue baseplate, and cost $4.99.
The bricks click together about the same as the MegaBloks Halo and ProBuilder series; so they're almost as good as LEGO.
Yes, rods would make them look more real, but I took mine off the Emerald Night because it takes more power to push them, so I went with direct drive instead.
@darkustotodile I have 2 Enlighten reviews up so far, and I'll upload another one later today. I have enough Enlighten sets to make 25 review videos, and I just ordered a big aircraft carrier, but it won't be here for a few weeks.
@WORRO01 Thanks, and they are a great value, especially where you compare them to LEGO.
I guess the big difference is that they come from China, and they make no secret about it, unlike LEGO who is not going out of their way to let that news get out. You can't find these in stores in the US, they were made to be sold in China, and they are priced low enough for Chinese kids to be able to afford them.
Even though we all know that LEGO is really expensive, we can't really complain. First of all we get their high quality bricks, and instructions. They also spend lots and lots of time designing and coming up with idea for their LEGO sets. Lastly we get their superb customer service, you can contact them and they will be happy to help, even send you replacement parts! So even though LEGO is expensive you get a lot more than just the model itself.
@jimbobpics I didn't get the license, but people have been posting videos of LEGO sets for a long time now, so I guess I can do it too. I don't take credit for the images though, at the end of the video I give credit to LEGO for the pictures. Anyways, if they are going to post the images on their website, Facebook... etc I guess everyone has the right to use them, as long as they don't take the credit for the images.
@LegobrandonCP That's what I thought. You are mistaken about that, unless you get permission to post the pictures, or you are doing so within the law, which you are not, then you've uploaded content that you do not own, AKA stolen content, and it does not matter whether you take credit for it or not. That's against the TOS of youtube, and you can lose your channel for doing that. Yes, I see other channels do that too, and they're violating the TOS also. You might want to reread the TOS.
@jimbobpics A lot of that happens here on YT, I would bet you a dollar that no one reads the TOS and Community Guidelines, because it is all stated there as clear as can be. And the funny thing is, the same people who do that, just freak out when they lose their channel, and say "I didn't know, and it's not fair!" But of course it is fair, and if they didn't know it was their own fault for not reading the TOS :)
@LegobrandonCP It should say on their website if it is ok to "freely distibute" the pictures. I'm pretty sure that would be the same as a license, but when you upload your video to YouTube, you would have to tell YT that the pictures are not yours, but that you have a license to use them.
@LegobrandonCP Don't misunderstand me here, as long as it's not my stuff, or my friend's stuff, I don't care what you post.
I can't flag your video, it's not my stuff. The owner of the stuff has to file a DMCA on you, and then YT will remove the content, and decide if they want to suspend you, or give you another chance. As for fair? Lots of people lost their channels over doing this, why them and not you? Because they got caught, and you didn't. It's just too risky. Maybe ask LEGO if it's OK.
@notanasian As far as I know, Enlighten is only availble in Hong Kong and China. But if you go to the website in the description of this video, you can ask if they will ship to Canada; I bet they do.
@benjaminthomas2000 Yes I agree, and they are cool because they offer items that LEGO does not offer, and they cost a lot less. So if we look at the big picture, it helps LEGO for them to have a company like Enlighten who sells stuff that makes our LEGO sets better.
@Leg0Reviewer Yes, but what is worse, is that LEGO really pushes their products with cool marketing, and kids just gotta have it. But it costs so much, that the average kid in a country like Mexico can't afford to buy it. In poorer countries, rather than lower the price so kids can afford it, they actually charge more, which means only rich kids can afford it. Even with the high prices in the US, it has some of the lowest LEGO prices, because it is the biggest market for LEGO.
great review, i am pretty sure the chinese plastic is going to bite hard into lego's quality, lost count of the tubers telling me of the minifigures hands which now break when installing weapons
the price difference is amazing, lego must be pulling a hefty profit or they throw heaps into advertising and buying shop aisles to parade their gear
@leokimvideo I'm not sure what parts of the Hogwarts train are made in China or Mexico, but the big base piece that the engine is built on, is the exact same piece as the one in the Enlighten set. It has the same feel of cheaper quality softer plastic, unlike the hard plastic of the LEGO brick. One of these days I'll buy a home test kit for lead, that you wipe across the surface of the toy, and it tells you if it has a high lead content.
I always wash my hands after touching this stuff :)
@BeanMeister22 when you have them for about 6 months you realise that the quality dosent diminish, i have a good few myself. when you get an emerald night, the enclosed red coaches are probably the best you can get.
the irritating thing about those green and cream ones is that they are observation cars :P
also some of their other sets (non train related) are pretty alluring :)
I've been wondering about the Enlighten trains for some time now, because of the price, and the similarities of the Enlighten Trains, and LEGO trains. Could you also do reviews on other Enlighten Train products, such as the Train Track, the 'Express Locomotive and the passenger coaches', and maybe some of the other rolling stock, like the tanker train, the crew car and such.
@LegobrandonCP Yes I will, I have a total of 20 different Enlighten engines and railcars. I don't like a couple of the passenger cars because they open from the side rather than from the top, and they tend to pop apart because these plastic hinges can sometimes be a pain. But I'll modify them not to open at all, because that is not a feature I need on my railcars. Also, in a later video, I will show how to motorized these enlighten trains and the Hogwarts Express.
@cubeproduktion I don't know how you got scratched from these, but maybe they are better now, than they were when you tried them. So far I have put together 16 Enlighten engines and railcars, and they have been perfectly fine.
@leokimvideo price may be better than the price of lego where I live (the cheapest set I've seen was 100 dirhams, highest being 5000!) that can be crazy expensive but I would buy it instead of Fake lego and I never remember on any of my lego sets saying made in china, even the newest ones!
@cubeproduktion You are either mistaken, or completly in the dark. If you have ANY newer LEGO sets, look on the side of the box and it says: "Components made in..." For the Hogwarts train it says: Denmark, Hungry, Mexico, China, Sweden, & Czech Republic. The order the country is listed in directly relates to the amount of the set that was made in that country. So Mexico is in 3rd position, and China is in 4th. The plastic from both these countries is lower quality than the plastic from Denmark.
@cubeproduktion What country do you live in, and what sets do you have? Some countries might not list the country of orgin on the outside of the box, but products sold in the US do list it. And whether you've seen it or not, it's for real. More and more LEGO sets contain lower quality plastic from China and Mexico. Maybe the BM22 channel will post a video that shows boxes that lists parts made in China, and then you can see for yourself.
@jimbobpics Dubai, UAE and my newest lego set is the Ninjago Starter spinner set i got last month but this set and all the sets I got before didn't say CHINA on the cover anywhere
@cubeproduktion The Ninjago spinners are not made in China, but many Ninjago sets have Chinese parts, and so do the Prince of Persia sets. This would be a good topic for a video, so people from around the world can see where their LEGO sets are made. Mexico and China has a lower quality of plastic, and you can tell the difference when you touch it. The plastic is good enough except there has been reports of it breaking easier. But LEGO wants top dollar for its products, even for lower quality.
@cubeproduktion I'm looking at a Ninjago spinner Kai set #2111. On the back of the package down near the bottom it says "Components made in DENMARK, CHINA, HUNGARY, and the CZECH REPUBLIC"
Since Denmark is first on the list, and China is second on the list, it means that most of the parts are made in Denmark, and the second most is made in China. The order the countries are listed, relate to the percent of the product made in that country. I hope this helps.
enlighten brick only good for one time assembly n put on display without play with it again... i hope in d future they perfected their products in term of quality n also get rid of that communist feeling on their military lines...
ImperialEarthEmpire 2 weeks ago
@ImperialEarthEmpire I don't really expect them to get rid of that commi look of their military lines, mostly because they are communists :)
That's why I don't like a lot of the Chinese military sets, because they look too much like the Chinese military.

is enlighten available in canada?
notanasian 6 months ago
@notanasian As far as I know, Enlighten is only availble in Hong Kong and China. But if you go to the website in the description of this video, you can ask if they will ship to Canada; I bet they do.

enlihgten is cool :)
benjaminthomas2000 6 months ago
@benjaminthomas2000 Yes I agree, and they are cool because they offer items that LEGO does not offer, and they cost a lot less. So if we look at the big picture, it helps LEGO for them to have a company like Enlighten who sells stuff that makes our LEGO sets better.
jimbobpics 6 months ago
@benjaminthomas2000 So far I have been happy with both the price and the quality of my Enlighten sets.
BeanMeister22 6 months ago
I hate that LEGO prices are going up but the quality is going down.
Leg0Reviewer 6 months ago
@Leg0Reviewer Yes, but what is worse, is that LEGO really pushes their products with cool marketing, and kids just gotta have it. But it costs so much, that the average kid in a country like Mexico can't afford to buy it. In poorer countries, rather than lower the price so kids can afford it, they actually charge more, which means only rich kids can afford it. Even with the high prices in the US, it has some of the lowest LEGO prices, because it is the biggest market for LEGO.
jimbobpics 6 months ago
great review, i am pretty sure the chinese plastic is going to bite hard into lego's quality, lost count of the tubers telling me of the minifigures hands which now break when installing weapons
the price difference is amazing, lego must be pulling a hefty profit or they throw heaps into advertising and buying shop aisles to parade their gear
leokimvideo 6 months ago
@leokimvideo I'm not sure what parts of the Hogwarts train are made in China or Mexico, but the big base piece that the engine is built on, is the exact same piece as the one in the Enlighten set. It has the same feel of cheaper quality softer plastic, unlike the hard plastic of the LEGO brick. One of these days I'll buy a home test kit for lead, that you wipe across the surface of the toy, and it tells you if it has a high lead content.
I always wash my hands after touching this stuff :)

it's nice to see more people getting into the enlighten train engines :)
MITCHELLtheC17 6 months ago
@MITCHELLtheC17 They have an amazing selection, and at about a tenth the cost of LEGO trains.
BeanMeister22 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 when you have them for about 6 months you realise that the quality dosent diminish, i have a good few myself. when you get an emerald night, the enclosed red coaches are probably the best you can get.
the irritating thing about those green and cream ones is that they are observation cars :P
also some of their other sets (non train related) are pretty alluring :)
MITCHELLtheC17 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 i checked out the site and i am seriously looking in to getting some if these sets... $0.98 for a minifig!!!

LegobrandonCP 6 months ago
@LegobrandonCP Yes I will, I have a total of 20 different Enlighten engines and railcars. I don't like a couple of the passenger cars because they open from the side rather than from the top, and they tend to pop apart because these plastic hinges can sometimes be a pain. But I'll modify them not to open at all, because that is not a feature I need on my railcars. Also, in a later video, I will show how to motorized these enlighten trains and the Hogwarts Express.

are lego tracks compatible with enlighten tracks?
Thebatkinz 6 months ago
@Thebatkinz Yes, they click together perfectly. The only difference is that the Enlightened track is brown instead of gray.
BeanMeister22 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 Ok Thats for the respond :-)
Thebatkinz 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 Also do lego trains fit on the tracks?
Thebatkinz 6 months ago
@Thebatkinz Yes, that is Enlighten track in this video, and the Hogwarts train fits on it fine.
BeanMeister22 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 Oh lolz did not realise that
Thebatkinz 6 months ago
I got that enlighten train once and it sucked, gave me a lot of scratches from playing and building, lego trains are 99991 billion times better
cubeproduktion 6 months ago
@cubeproduktion I don't know how you got scratched from these, but maybe they are better now, than they were when you tried them. So far I have put together 16 Enlighten engines and railcars, and they have been perfectly fine.
BeanMeister22 6 months ago
@cubeproduktion and the price is billions of times better as well
leokimvideo 6 months ago
@leokimvideo price may be better than the price of lego where I live (the cheapest set I've seen was 100 dirhams, highest being 5000!) that can be crazy expensive but I would buy it instead of Fake lego and I never remember on any of my lego sets saying made in china, even the newest ones!
cubeproduktion 6 months ago
@cubeproduktion You are either mistaken, or completly in the dark. If you have ANY newer LEGO sets, look on the side of the box and it says: "Components made in..." For the Hogwarts train it says: Denmark, Hungry, Mexico, China, Sweden, & Czech Republic. The order the country is listed in directly relates to the amount of the set that was made in that country. So Mexico is in 3rd position, and China is in 4th. The plastic from both these countries is lower quality than the plastic from Denmark.
jimbobpics 6 months ago
@jimbobpics I always look around the whole box, never seen CHINA on it
cubeproduktion 6 months ago
@cubeproduktion What country do you live in, and what sets do you have? Some countries might not list the country of orgin on the outside of the box, but products sold in the US do list it. And whether you've seen it or not, it's for real. More and more LEGO sets contain lower quality plastic from China and Mexico. Maybe the BM22 channel will post a video that shows boxes that lists parts made in China, and then you can see for yourself.
jimbobpics 6 months ago
@jimbobpics Dubai, UAE and my newest lego set is the Ninjago Starter spinner set i got last month but this set and all the sets I got before didn't say CHINA on the cover anywhere
cubeproduktion 6 months ago
@cubeproduktion The Ninjago spinners are not made in China, but many Ninjago sets have Chinese parts, and so do the Prince of Persia sets. This would be a good topic for a video, so people from around the world can see where their LEGO sets are made. Mexico and China has a lower quality of plastic, and you can tell the difference when you touch it. The plastic is good enough except there has been reports of it breaking easier. But LEGO wants top dollar for its products, even for lower quality.
jimbobpics 6 months ago
@cubeproduktion I'm looking at a Ninjago spinner Kai set #2111. On the back of the package down near the bottom it says "Components made in DENMARK, CHINA, HUNGARY, and the CZECH REPUBLIC"
Since Denmark is first on the list, and China is second on the list, it means that most of the parts are made in Denmark, and the second most is made in China. The order the countries are listed, relate to the percent of the product made in that country. I hope this helps.
BeanMeister22 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 all my other sets don't say CHINA, they said DENMARK, HUNGRY and CZECH REPUBLIC
cubeproduktion 6 months ago
@BeanMeister22 on the kre-o transformers set I am working on at the moment it is listed as south korea and china as where the set is made
