the guitar part is relativly easy from a technique standpoint. The composition of the guitar solo however is pretty damn awesome and one of the best guitar solos I know...

When i play this song i make sure i use the right effects and get the right sounds but i don't mean its easy to make it sound exactly how muse play it right down to the exact vibration of the whammy bar. I'm just saying its easy to play either in your bedroom or on stage without making it sound exactly like mr bellamy's exact sound and technique or whatever. Your just confusing me now with this.

Even people who don't particularly play guitar could learn this pretty quick, unlike some other solo's, this solo remains in patterns and shapes, making it easier to navigate around the fretboard.

Hysteria is one of THE best songs on the Absolution Album & an absolute legend of a song live. The 'High Pitch' you mention followed by the 'mellowness' is what Makes Matt Bellamy - Matt Bellamy & makes MUSE - MUSE.

I suggest you return to your beloved Radiohead and enjoy the monotone

I don't think they are same genre. Radiohead doesnt do that balls-out theatrical rock in the way Muse always does (Hysteria, Showbiz, Citizen Erased, Plug in Baby), at least not since Pablo Honey. Muse doesn't do the far-out electronic or experimental stuff Radiohead does (Where I End and You begin, I Will, Kid A, Everything In Its Right Place). And don't point to Supermassive Black Hole because that's a glaring exception, not a rule.

Radiohead is my favorite band, and I say they are superior to any band you can name. Still, I don't see anyone mentioning Radiohead on a ZZ Top or Neil Diamond video, but always on Muse videos. I agree with you. Radiohead do one thing in the studio, but do another thing live. Which means that you have 2 versions of a song. Radiohead are IMO better live, whilst Muse are better live because...? Well they're a better live band, NOT when it comes to advanced music, but when they stand on a stage infront of thousands of people. Radiohead on the other hand have loads more feeling and passion to their music and its emotionally better. Whilst Muse just do their thing, and their GOOD at it.
