This song is about the Freddie Mercury, the lead singer of Queen. Freddie died in 1991 of AIDS... 24 hours after he made his illness public. Also on 'Songs From The West Coast" Bernie T wrote a song called "American Triangle" about Matthew Shepperd. The entire album is amazing!!!
