True, quickscoping isnt exactly brain surgery especially when it comes to the one off shot. The true skill involved in quickscoping is acquiring the targets and taking them down in quick succession, its difficult because you only have one attempt at each person, if you try to quickscope even a half decent player and miss chances are they are taking you out before you can get a second shot off.

Quick scoping really takes no school. Think about it. Everytime some kills you while doing it, they are usually camping or get a lucky shot on you because you were sprinting. or get a lucky shot because you were directly in front of them and all the have to do is aim and shoot once. there is NO skill in that which is why so many sniper rejects do it

@guitaristglenn Mainly preference. BC2 can be much more epic than any CoD, but at times, it can be slower paced. Not to mention Battlefield games have a large learning curve in comparison to any CoD game. Most CoD players drop out early because they don't surpass the learning curve. I'm gonna get trolled, but I'm gonna say it. Sniper Rifles are overpowered in CoD 4 and in MW2. Why would you use an Assault Rifle, which kills in 3 to 5 bullets, when a sniper will (almost) always get a one shot kill? Why use a shotgun, which has a one hit kill up to maybe 10 feet, when a sniper can achieve the same from any distance? Notice how all the fanboys stuck with MW2. It's cause the QuickScoping bullshit is fucking easy as hell in that game. Play Bad Company 2 and try doing that shit.

The only quickscopers I respect are Grizz,Hutch,TrueScopes, and aMOODIEswede . The rest try to be these guys but they can't be. However, if you actually QS then you would know that not all quickscopes are through "fake" crosshairs, most quickscopers do it by taking the shot after they can see through the scope. Also, there is rarely quickscopers in games, but snipers who use quickscopes along with hardscoping.

only reason i used to is because the sniper spots in every map ever mad are aweful. for the most part theres 2 spots per map on each side with view from above(killstreaks) and 2-3 other spots that are a clear view to a sniper. and yes real snipers would only take 1-3 shots and leave but what about inbetween you can use a pistol but we all know how that'll turn out, you could just play hardcore but that respond delay is too much

your talking about realistic you wouldnt be running around with a sniper rifle you would be sitting in a hillside with a sniper rifle with a spotter telling you the earths rotation and a bunch of shit... falling 500 ft without dieing or beaking a leg. your using a automatic and you have the upper hand i have a bolt action sniper you have an ACR who has the upper hand.. when you have the opportunity to shoot me 40 times befor i even get a bullet out you have the upper hand.
After using a Sniper Rifle for a while, it's only natural that you'd try to quickscope because you know where you're aiming and where your crosshairs are going to be. In MW2, I started out just hardscoping and as I got comfortable with my gun I could get kills faster. Some people are idiots, like the "purist" quickscopers" who think it's a sin to aim down your scope. Don't get "quickscoping" confused with CoD Sniping.
@progmetalrules11 quick scoping on black ops was extremely hard for the first month it came out and december 14th they finally made it easier. but there were very few people like me still doing it before it was easy again. and as soon as i heard about the new patch i put my video up to show i did it all when everyone thought it was impossible so go watch it please its in HD ;)

Quick scoping really takes no school. Think about it. Everytime some kills you while doing it, they are usually camping or get a lucky shot on you because you were sprinting. or get a lucky shot because you were directly in front of them and all the have to do is aim and shoot once. there is NO skill in that which is why so many sniper rejects do it

This guy speaks the truth. The skill in quickscoping comes from the fact that you have to perfectly line up the shot before aiming down you scope. Unless you plan to drag, which is slightly lucky.

@guitaristglenn Mainly preference. BC2 can be much more epic than any CoD, but at times, it can be slower paced. Not to mention Battlefield games have a large learning curve in comparison to any CoD game. Most CoD players drop out early because they don't surpass the learning curve. It's probably why you think it sucks, simply because you failed at your first attempts.

I'm gonna get trolled, but I'm gonna say it. Sniper Rifles are overpowered in CoD 4 and in MW2. Why would you use an Assault Rifle, which kills in 3 to 5 bullets, when a sniper will (almost) always get a one shot kill? Why use a shotgun, which has a one hit kill up to maybe 10 feet, when a sniper can achieve the same from any distance? Notice how all the fanboys stuck with MW2. It's cause the QuickScoping bullshit is fucking easy as hell in that game. Play Bad Company 2 and try doing that shit.

QS in mw2 was is gay,considering ive been in multiple matches where the ENTIRE enemy team was doing it.i had to use the intervention acog scope to beat them,at least they toned it down alot in black ops,by taking away most of the aim assist,and taking sleight of hand from sniper rifles,in mw2 though,i almost always use the scar H or rpd,why have a 1 shot kill with 50/50 chance that misses,when i could kill u with 2 shots consistenly,and go after 4 people at the same time? oh nd BC2=no scopes win

Quickscoping isn't cheap, its fun! Yeah, it got kind of out of hand when optic fanboys screamed "hardscoper" like it was a bad thing, but taking it out just makes sniping slow-paced and under powered. Fine, don't let us qs in pub matches. But if I want to play qs with my friends privately, then they should take the god damn sway and long scope in time out of private matches!

The only quickscopers I respect are Grizz,Hutch,TrueScopes, and aMOODIEswede . The rest try to be these guys but they can't be. These guys don't take it out of hand like the others who ranted on JD2020's message on twitter. Any other Youtube quickscopers are camping little bitches off of the screen. They have to accept it.

@trickytaffy111 You're right, quickscoping is not "real" sniping, just like MW2 is not "real" warfare. However, if you actually QS then you would know that not all quickscopes are through "fake" crosshairs, most quickscopers do it by taking the shot after they can see through the scope. Also, there is rarely quickscopers in games, but snipers who use quickscopes along with hardscoping.

only reason i used to is because the sniper spots in every map ever mad are aweful. for the most part theres 2 spots per map on each side with view from above(killstreaks) and 2-3 other spots that are a clear view to a sniper. and yes real snipers would only take 1-3 shots and leave but what about inbetween you can use a pistol but we all know how that'll turn out, you could just play hardcore but that respond delay is too much

I agree that its fucking annoying when little kids that think they're elite at it ruin the team based games etc.. for us when they're not even good at it. however i do feel you are wrong when it comes to whether it is skill or luck, because im not going to boast, but i would like to think myself above average with a sniper holding a 1.56 K/D, and i can assure you there is no pixel counting in our method but just practice and eventually skill is developed, but i appreciate its not for everyone.

After using a Sniper Rifle for a while, it's only natural that you'd try to quickscope because you know where you're aiming and where your crosshairs are going to be. In MW2, I started out just hardscoping and as I got comfortable with my gun I could get kills faster. Some people are idiots, like the "purist" quickscopers" who think it's a sin to aim down your scope. Don't get "quickscoping" confused with CoD Sniping.

@progmetalrules11 quick scoping on black ops was extremely hard for the first month it came out and december 14th they finally made it easier. but there were very few people like me still doing it before it was easy again. and as soon as i heard about the new patch i put my video up to show i did it all when everyone thought it was impossible so go watch it please its in HD ;)
