well, i need some help and i think you can help me.i've been playing the guitar (classical) since 2004 (7 years).so i decided to change my way and start some downpicking :p.i'm a big fan of james hetfield and i really want to buy an esp (ltd for me) explorer like him.i think that this guitar is perfect for me but i can't decide which amp should i go for.i really love trash metal and some hard rock so giv me some advice!if you also have a better idea for the guitar..plz inform me!!!

@limartasa I like my LTD much better, cause I think the pickups on the Ibanez has to dry sound(of course you can change them), and it just feels better with the LTD in my hands...and its not to much stress chanhing the strings with the LTD.

@Nevadatyler13 Thats what I tought...well almost every Metallica song are in Standard E but some are in drop D...Every song on the newest album are in E exept All Nightmare long wich is in Drop D.

A couple things: The tone is WAY too trebley, there's not a lot of feeling in your playing, it's fairly robotic, you could have given it a bit more low end, it could have mixed it a bit better, and there are some parts that are played wrong, but good job.

Thanks, I like critism, and I know about the tone. Im a much better mixer now, and I did this a year ago though. But which parts are wrong? Ive followed the original TAB book,and it sounds right to me.

On 1:00 should have gallops on the open E, there are a few other parts, but the tones tininess is deterring.

The "official" tab books aren't always correct, they're done by people with an exceptional ear. Which is a job I'm training for. There are small differences in the transcriptions than how they're actually done, but for the most part they're fine.

The last thing is there's pretty much no palm muting, which really effects the sound, like ringing notes that should have been muted.

I just finished mine a couple weeks ago, except for the drums having a bit more highs and the 2nd rhythm being a little low I'm happy with it. I'm getting started on All Nightmare Long for a new one, though.

its a really good rythm guitar, but no lead guitar though, cause you cant easily reach the 22 fret. But when you play it you really feel that you did a great deal ; )
