  • its all about the 2:05 ruuush!

  • The quintessential sound of early 1991 rave.

The only sample to have been used more in dance music is the Amen break.

  • Second Phase is Beltram & Mundo Muzique...Mundo wasn't just making the tea in the studio, you know. Credit where it's due...Don't understand people that take the time to upload a video and then don't credit it correctly.

  • @OscillatingRhythms

You're absolutely right, as it's part of history.

Also Joey told me that Mundo was the first to release a track with the hoover patch on it (teknotanz ep on R&S)

and Joey wanted to use this sound but with a trick to make it sound tougher.

This track is the union of two genius.

  • God I use to have it to this tune ...... Flashback to Astoria - still get goosebumps and the tingles xx

  • I remember when I first heard this track. It was on Kiss FM in 1991. I lived about 50 miles outside of London, and I could just pick up Kiss FM by using two coat hangers and a big bit of wire hanging out of my bedroom window.

    Absolutely mad, mad, mad times.

  • @iloveesr this tune came around on kiss fm about 2 years before i actually went out raving to the early hardcore / jungle sounds of 1992/3 but DAMN what a shame kiss 100 fm london sucks so badly now!

nonstop rnb / hiphop for the kids.....

    with you in spirit, dude

  • ok so much music has come and gone... however has many musics been as exciting as techno ? really? every genre specific has sampled and spliced however never improved upon... grime and the sound of East London provided a window.. however nothing globally as influencing.. sorry all global grime heads and dubsteppaz.

i think for our generation this was it.. !!! Nothing next till our children's genration and when that comes around we just wont hear it... as it will be TURN THAT DOWN !

  • great track!
