She won the ADCC Brazil tryouts beating the eventual winner, Luanna Alzuguir, in the final. After that her foot got smashed to bits and had three plates put in and pretty much didn't walk until about two weeks before the ADCC. The lost her first match, against Laurence Cousine, a great fighter herself, but Michelle only lost by an advantage point. She's that good!
