  • ahhhh! I thought it was "nicetits"

  • "Hands on your buzzers."

Amen to that, Chuck. Amen to that.

  • Good thing there was no "S"

  • You know as soon as that "T" popped in they should have sounded a "cuckoo." As Tony Barber on Aussie's Sale of The Century once said after a question with briefs as the answer said "OH REG YOU LITTLE TEASER!" After all (fanfare) "Scrabble is a Reg Grundy Production."

  • henry is a little off his rocker.

  • I don't think I ever heard Chuck speechless.

  • Now, if someone could find the episode where Chuck said "before we begin, let's reCRAP the scores"...yes, I heard that blooper when Scrabble still aired on NBC!

  • I Hope you may mention Betty and Veronica.

  • i was waiting for it to spell out APETIT

  • Best ep ever. Income was the response to the Q "Dolly Parton has a big one". Another question on this same ep was "These are grand". The answer Tetons. Tetons, Dolly Parton and then this. I didn't know scrabble did theme shows.

I am surprised they aired it.

  • @poidog44 Wow - you know your Scrabble episodes!

  • TIT < A Consuming Desire xD

  • I agree. There should be a "GSN Classic" channel with all those old game shows (including the ones they play from 9:00-12:00 PM). Also, during the early morning hours, they played Card Sharks when Bob hosted it. Was the "asses" clip in this same episode, and do you have the rest of this one? One more thing, RIP George Carland, even though your word has an 'S' at the end of it.

  • It actually took me a minute to realize that it was referring to the letters shown instead of the word itself.

  • Chuck: "Getting intense, Henry!"

Henry: "Like a Cub Scout! In Tents! Uh, never mind!"

Chuck's reaction at 0:35 is what made him and the show great to watch. I wish GSN would run those shows again! New shows suck!

  • @ 0:56, all the stoners who saw it must be thinking, "Duh-huh-huh-huh-huh! They funny!!!" :-D

And Henry still creeps me out... he looks like he's angry about something.

  • Considering Henry Beckman was a minor celebrity (he was a semi-regular on McHale's Navy and numerous other shows), it's kind of remarkable that he passed a game show audition- then again, they were much less strict about casting back then.

  • Oh, god, Henry creeps me out...

  • @gshowguy He's got that Vincent Price voice!

  • I bet that all those stoppers were intentional!

  • LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL

  • Lmao!!

  • tits XD!!!!!!

  • haha i love the guys face at end... That's just awesome

  • We got to get the ASSES clip too

  • I'm still 12 inside, cuz I just BWAHAHA'd at that big time. The old guy looked like someone slipped crack into his metamusil.

  • I liked the old man's joke about being "in tents".

  • The same thing happened with Scrabble on the Nintendo DS.

  • it would be even more funny if there was a s at the end instead of a e

  • Too bad you are like the Special Olympics...sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but in the end, you are still retarded.

  • TIT

  • Scrabble Fail

  • Henry was the security guard on the first season of 'Check it Out!'. He also appeared in Ford commercials in the 1990's in Alberta.

  • I was also chuckling at the E D afterward.

  • "It's a consuming desire." LOL

  • LOL i know. it got me thinking inside the gutter too

  • Hahaha, this is amazing!!!

  • I thought it was interesting when Henry said, "should I try it", "I'll go for it", that the tiles he selected just happened to spell IT. Wow. What are the odds!

  • Henry reminds me of Rip Taylor.

  • @denelson83 A cross between Rip Taylor and Vincent Price.

  • One question, Bob: How did it get through the censors at the time?

  • I lol'd when Chuck freaked out after Henry used the third stopper.

  • henry looks like he's constipated

  • Chuck: "Please get another letter up there

    quicky" LOL

  • I can't stop laughing at this

  • One time on Scrabble, they had asses there.

  • And you thought Coundown's POOP was something.

  • I saw that clip, and I thought the word was "POOF".

  • I didn't know "Tit" was considered a swear word.

  • One of the original "Seven Dirty Words" actually, but it's been phased out on broadcast TV...I think I heard it on "The Office" about a year ago.

A similar incident happened to Chuck about 20 years later on Lingo...during a seven-letter tie breaker, the word was CURRENT, except, "RRE" was missing. Take it from there... ;-)

  • All that was displayed was CU---NT?

  • Correct.

  • @samsticka The plural is one of George Carlin's Seven Dirty Words.
