The Deathstick is really the most powerful wand but it isn't really unbeatable since Dumbledore took control of it during a battle against a dark wizard. Since then Dumbledore decided to tame the wand because it is too powerful. I'm guessing if Dumbledore was as mad as Voldemort, Voldemort wouldn't stand a chance since Dumbledore is practically a great wizard and a great dueler, and he has the Deathstick.

@TheVirtouso, In the book Voldemort didn't stand a chance, but for some reason they changed the battle in the film to make it look as if the battle was a draw. Also, Dumbledore doesn't use any spells that can seriously wound or kill Voldemort because he knows it would be useless since he (Dumbledore) knows about the horcruxes that Voldemort created.

@bearinwonderland818 The elderwand isn't unbeatable, of course, how else would there have been a good ending.. however that it's not the most powerful is a complete lie, it is clearly stated during the movies/books that it is- and i quote 'the most powerful wand ever made' told by Luna's father, Ollivander and many more from the story. Also, the wand has only ever lost because it was being used against the wizard it chose as its master, the wand itself never lost a fair duel in single combat.
