You should always have on hand what you pet needs on a daily basis in your disaster kit, because when disaster strikes, you may not need be able to get to the store or your vet or they may no longer exist. Food, water and supplements as well as pictures of your pet and his medical records are an important component. I do add towelettes to the kits I make along with a whole lot more items.
