  • Are there any Áine chants?

  • @KashyaCharsi

I haven't heard any. Sorry! Lisa Thiel did write a song for the Celtic goddess Brigid. :)

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • @xGoddessxWitchx Can "Aina" be a variation of the name?

  • @KashyaCharsi

Possibly; I'm honestly not sure. I know of a few Celtic goddesses, but I'm not really an expert. You can look up "Aina" and see if there are any chants out there for her. :) Again, sorry I don't really know.

  • Paganism is not a religion. Paganism IS nothing more than a catch all term for non-Judeo-Christian-Muslim religions. You're all retarded. Thanks.

  • beutiful love love it

  • @PaganWitchGirl

Thanks. :) I didn't create any of it, but the song and the art really is beautiful. )O(

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • wanted you all to know Lisa Thiels music is now available for the first time as mp3 downloads on cdbaby!

  • @serafina717

    Really? That's awesome! :D

  • Enchanting...thank you so much for sharing! )o( ~ Love and Light ~

  • @elkins67

You're very welcome! :) It's not my composition or anything, but it is quite an enchanting song. )O( I'm glad you like the video. :)

  • i am so proud to worship the goddess. i wish others did not mock me for it.

  • @martharoyce

Me too; it is in many ways much less absurd than some of the mainstream religions. We don't kill for our religion (like how both some Christians and some Muslims do), and we're not in any way evil. I wish the world had more tolerance and respect. )O(

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • @xGoddessxWitchx I only started in paganism recently but I have taken to it well. I have been shunned in school but I wish they would see that because I'm Pagan doesn't mean I am stupid, evil or worthless. )O( Blessed Be my friend)O(

  • @martharoyce

That sucks about being shunned at school; I must be pretty lucky that I don't have problems there. :) And yes; Paganism is a beautiful spiritual practice, and it's just as good and just as valid as any other religion. )O(

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • @xGoddessxWitchx You are very lucky. I have been told by several people now that

    a) I should not talk about Paganism when there might be Christians around

    b) They hate me and don't want to see me again

    c) and I am a bitch born of Satan's fire and an Unholy Creation.

My parents don't mind though although Dad is against religion in general. He also didn't like the idea of a 12 year old casting circles and doing Pagan rituals but agreed in the end.

  • @martharoyce

Holy crap, you're only 12?!?!??? And I thought I was one of the younger people in the Pagan online community. That's so cool how you've became a Witch at such an early age. :) Those things that people have said are really horrible; I seem to be blessed to live in a very liberal state (in the North Eastern US). Many people in my school are unfortunately anti-gay, but I once told everyone in a class discussion discussion that I'm Pagan, and they didn't seem to really...

  • @martharoyce

...care. My dad isn't really accepting too (he thinks it's some kind of new "New Age" thing that doesn't have any real depth), but at least everybody's tolerant. :) I hope that the waning of the Moon can bring some cleansing in your life from insults regarding your Spiritual Path. )O(

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • @xGoddessxWitchx Thankyou. And you. I became a Pagan when I was 10, I had just watched my Grandmother die over the course of 4-5 hours so I lost my mind (pretty much). I decided I could not be bothered to be Christian so I looked for other religions and when I found Paganism it felt right for me so I looked deeper. I found a shop in Exeter called "Evolution" which helped me to understand. It seemed like the only thing that gave me relief at the time because I could feel my...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ...mind literally cracking and rebelling so I went into major depression and I still have months when I just can't comprehend anything and when I can't see the point in anything. I'm getting better but having troubles in school which put me down a lot sometimes. I feel better after communing with the Mother Goddess though so I get comfort from Her. My Dad is just against religion full-stop. He calls himself an "aging hippie" and has very particular views on ...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx .. Paganism. He doesn't see it as a religion. He relates it to Buddhism and although there are elements similar to Buddhism we are not Buddhist and it is a religion (or so I believe). It's good you are accepted in your school. May I ask how old are you (I don't mean to pry:) )? I have met one Pagan where I am (Devon,SouthWest, England) and I don't see her often so it's nice to come online and talk on Youtube to other Pagans. I cannot tell people in my day-to-...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ...day life because they judge me harshly so it's nice to meet people like you who sympathise with my beliefs and are not predjudiced against me. Hope everything's fine in America. :)

  • @martharoyce

I don't usually tell people in my day-to-day life, either; society still isn't open enough to the idea for me to start doing that. :( I'm 14; I was introduced to Wicca by a friend. :) Occult/New Age stores really do help; there's one in my town, too. )O( I actually became Pagan in the Summer of my 13th year; I haven't been a Witch for as long as you have. That's so neat how you discovered this wonderful practice at such an early age! :D It's also amazing that you...

  • @martharoyce

...keep practicing despite the fact that family-members, classmates, and obnoxious college-graduate youtubers say it's not legit or evil or whatever. I honor you, and people like you who are still surviving. )O(

Btw, nice job standing up against that obnoxious college-graduate. :) It's impossible to change the minds of some people, but as a 12-year-old especially, standing up to that guy was very brave. :) Here's a nice quote I've heard that I hope he reads;...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx Thankyou. I'm sorry I have not replied recently but have been tied up with funeral arrangements so everything has been very hectic for ages. And thankyou again; it is nice to know that there are people like me as far from me as America that are Pagan and understand the importance of Paganism without thinking me mad. He is obnoxious but I daresay the Goddess will sort it out in due time. That is a very good quote and remarkably accurate too, I hope he learns...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ...that he is not always right as he seems to think he is. I have already said this but I must say it again : it is very comforting to know that people like you are still out there, those who heard the Mother Goddesses call. We were born of the bones of the Earth and please don't think I'm a mad fanatic but Paganism was there before everything to me and it is vitally important that it survives;more so than I can say. I know not how much you do with the Tarot,...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ... but all my latest readings have said that troubling times for me are coming and that I must understand how important Paganism is and how it must survive. Somehow this is vital and I wish that Christians didn't think we are evil because we really aren't.I honour you,

    )O(Blessed Be Friend)O(

  • @martharoyce

I've never used the Tarot or gotten a reading, but I hope to someday. :) I do kind of understand it; I've got a book on the subject and have read a bit from various sources. The deck I would like to get is called "The Triple Goddess Tarot", and it's basically the Major Arcana with the names changed and some cards added. :) It's good that not all Christians are as narrow-minded as some, but some really are narrow-minded. :( Oh, and don't worry, it's totally ok with...

  • @martharoyce

...me that you've been busy. Funeral arrangements? Wow, I wish blessings to both you and whoever it is who died. )O( It seems as if the World is going through tough times; if we cling to spirituality, we'll make it out Enlightened. )O( You're not alone; I wish you the best.

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • @xGoddessxWitchx Thankyou, it is comforting to have someone who sympathises rather than encourages (ahem, demands) that I get a councillor. It was my Uncle on my father's side, Janos. I didn't know him that well but we were close and I will miss him, but not nearly as much as my Aunt. They had been together for21 years and she has gone into depression. Because they were in love, it reminds me forcefully of when I was younger. I was in love with someone although he was going...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ...to move in with, and hopefully marry, a friend of mine. He died suddenly of a brain hemorrhage. I never even got to tell him how much I loved him :( so as you can imagine, I've been pretty messed up for a while. You should try the Tarot. I got my first Dech when I was9 and it predicted that I would have no peace for some years yet. I didn't know that it was telling me about all the years of turmoil that were coming. I still have not found my peace and I...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ...wonder if I am supposed to.I remember that as I fell asleep that night, I had a weird dream. I dreamed that I was embraced by a beautiful lady who said she was sorry. I still don't know who she was but I think I know what she was apologising for now. I have clung to the belief that I was forever meant to be a Pagan( Wiccan specifically) and I have not regretted it for one moment. I have always felt the Goddess beside me and although I have been through...

  • @xGoddessxWitchx ... (pardon my French) shit and back I have always felt the Goddess' embrace shielding me from what She could and I am eternally grateful to Her for Her unfailing love and kindness. Thankyou for the support, I am grateful and I promise that if ever you need support I will support you.

  • @martharoyce

..."If you haven't changed your mind lately, how can you be sure you still have one?" lol :) And yes, things are going well in my life. :)

    ~)O( Blessed Be )O(~

  • @martharoyce There is no such thing as Pagan rituals. Do you mean Norse religion? Germanic? Tartar? Iberian? Native American? You should be more specific and educate yourself on what the word pagan actually means. A.K.A It isn't a religion or belief set. I'm an atheist with a degree in religious history.

  • @TheMeese Shutup. I don't care what you studied in uni but I am a Pagan so I think I would know about my own religion and don't need busybodies like you to tell me how to practise my religion. If there are no Pagan rituals then I would like to know how it is possible that I seem to perform rituals at Yule, Imbolc, Ostara, Beltane, Midsummer, Lughnasadh, Mabon and Samhain since I was ten. You obviously don't understand what you're talking about so don't correct people who do.

  • @TheMeese I would also like to point out that those of a mature age actively practicing any religion would understand it better than anyone not of that religion no matter how much the latter had studied and how many qualifications said latter had gained so never try to correct me on my own religion again, understand? Good.

  • @martharoyce I am trying to inform you that this Neo Paganism stuff is a modern revival of nothing. If you want to be a pagan, at least pick a specific religion. Buddhists are pagan. If you want to worship Thor, join a Nordic group, etc. Pagan by itself holds absolutely no meaning and shows that you have no idea what you're talking about.

  • @TheMeese Paganism has been around for a long LONG time, and tho it varies in practices (shamanism, wiccan, etc.) it's still a certified religion. It's recognized on the census as a religion (in Australia - home sweet home :) - ). It;s simply made up of many variations, grouped together under the 1 name. It's like how Catholicism, Anglican and other such faiths are all termed 'Christianity'. They have the same basic belief system, just different ways of interpretating and doing things.

  • @TheMeese I'd really like to know how you can possibly be so thick and be old enough to go to uni. Buddhists are Buddhists and are not Pagans at all. I am a Pagan and you are an idiot and I am trying to inform YOU that Paganism has been around longer than any other religion-it is in the bones of the Earth and although there are many types of Pagan we are all united in the Goddess and it is perfectly correct to say "I am Pagan" because yes there are many types but it is still one to us.

  • @martharoyce I am starting to wonder if you understand the difference between the word Paganism and the movement known as Neo-Paganism of which you are a member. Paganism refers to any non Abrahamic religion (Christianity, Judaism, Islam), and as such includes religions from Asia, Africa, Europe, Americas, etc. Native America spirit worship is Paganism, Nordic religion is Paganism, Juju in Africa is Paganism, Taoism is Paganism. The religion that you follow is not one of these.

  • @TheMeese Does it really even matter? Why do you feel the need to label everything? Religion is religion no matter the subcategories. Personally I think all religions are either partially or entirely correct and are all intertwined. :3 Now everyone just relax and enjoy the music.

  • @TheMeese it's still a type of Paganism thow these days the def. of Paganism is any religion that is not Christian, Judaism, and Islam is the correct def. i looked it up so if the religion that he follows is not one of these three it is a type of Paganism

  • @martharoyce Same goes for you, hon. ;3 NOW TO CLICK REPLAY! x3

  • @xGoddessxWitchx While the pics are not created by you, you still have compiled a piece of art in their selection and captured the joy and beauty of our path: it touches me and reminds me that

"I am pagan and I'm proud/I walk with the goddess 'cause she rocks my soul!"

  • @CroneCaren

Thank you so much! Yes, I love these images. I love those chants, too! :D
