hey dude, i was just wondering...i have not taken any T, have not had any surgeries but just recently ordered a binder and am trying to make my own stp. I mean i look pretty guyish, obviously no facial hair, and i have a higher voice..i get nervous about going in the men's room but then when i go in the women's room people stare at me like crazy and some people even ask me if im a guy, What should i do? would guys care? like if they noticed i was a girl?

so after you use to stp and you flip it pack up(the spoon) and lay the shaft down. wont there be still pee in the med spoon? and wont some leak down through the shaft later like when your walkin outta wear ever you just peed?

oh and also?

when does the med sppooon part lay. when not in use?

and when you shift it the the side should the shaft lay still on the balls or alongside them to witch ever side.?

it's not easy at all- it takes a lot of working back and forth. a friend told me the first time he attempted it, it literally took him a day.

one trick i learned early on was to use a lighter to soften the plastic tubing so it is more pliable, making the spoon easier to get in the tubing.

Do you think you can help me? I'm a 15 year old ftm and I think I pass pretty well but the problem is that I'm always scared that I'm going to get kicked out or hurt in a male's restroom and I don't want to go in the woman's restroom because it hurts my pride and if I use my stp then the women in there might think I'm actually a male and I'll get in trouble. My best friend who is female says no one cares and I should go in the males room at school too. I don't know what to do. What do you think?

i'm not sure what you should do at school. there are legal issues there. you need to talk to your parents/school administration before you use the male bathrooms. you don't want to get into a violent situation at school

The only time I've ever heard of a guy pissing in a sink is the one "Big Love" episode where Bruce Dern's barbaric father character did it, purely to enrage everyone else.  And it worked.

Let's face it, there are wrost things with the mens bathroom than someone cleaning their device in the sink. Besides you run your hands under a constant flow of running water so I don't see the problem.

i don't think smaller tubing would make it too flexible, i think it would just be hard to fit the medicine spoon into it.

Thanks for the info, now your method brings to mind a question. I guess I assumed that when not in use one would have it lay flat against their body having the penis look flacid as it is laying downwards, but you mentioned with the travelmate it makes it look like it has a boner all day, so that leads me to ask, do you just keep the medicine spoon in "ready" position all day? And if so, does that cause any probs/uncomfortableness? ...

well, that's the thing- if you use an actual travelmate, it will look like it has a boner all day. if you use just a regular medicine spoon with tubing, the boner thing is not a problem.

I know this is not something any of us want in our pants, but for leaking..while in "training" why not wear a (menstrual) pad to help catch the leak..similar to a diaper to a baby.

Great video, thanks! A question I always have in mind about the Mango and similar STPs is this: Is it uncomfortable to have the TravelMate lodged between your legs all day? Also, wearing a harness seems like a drag. Are these just non-issues for you?

i've never had an issue wearing a packer with a medicine spoon. it just kind of rests off to the side. as for the harness, i don't even notice it. it only comes off when i'm in the shower.

remember that everyone is built differently. Your eurethra may be in a different spot, or your parts may somehow be blocking the spoon from getting a good seal. Also, if you're on T your dick/clit may have grown and also be blocking a proper seal.

That said, it does take practice, but not everyone can use a spoon, hence the version of Mango that has a larger catch devise and many guys sit to pee, so hang in there, you'll find what works for you!

i'd say you can do it for about $20.

about $12 for the packer

roughly $5-6 for the tubing

and approximately $1-2 for the medicine spoon

very inexpensive yet very effective.
