@soltysi Yeh Ku-Ring-Gai was a little bit different with their choice of lid colours, the bottle bins had brown lids too. They've recently fitted blue to the paper bins and yellow to the bottle bins, so they blend in with other councils now.
Nice one as usual Mitch!! Different sound to the GenV recyclers. Also the Superior Pak grabber doesn't 'mould' around the Sulo Series 2 bins as well as the MJ Rotagrab does. 5 stars mate and looking forward to the other vids that you are hopeing to get!!
As always, 5 stars! Didn't even have to start watching it to know it was 5 stars, actually! The truck really does have an odd idle sound to it, wonder what the reason is. Anyways, very smooth operation, quite a good driver! A bit slow by Aussie standards running an about 8 sec. a bin, but still not much slower (and still very exceptional compared to American ASL speeds). Liked the shot at 3:01, and liked the way he handled the bin at 4:42! Thanks again for the great video!!
they were pleased its here now, have not seen it yet myself but will get down there soon for a look at it. I hope its not the green colour - that colour is awful.
Sorry to say, but it is the green colour. Everyone at Binksie say they are't crazy about it either! lol It's just been out of action a bit recently, there's already been 3 problems with it. Though I think now it's all fixed and should be back in action next week. I have posted a short clip of it if you look at my second most recent vid. The drivers are a bit unhapy because it can be hard to get around corners with it's length, and it's a taller cab, so it's a pain for the old fellas.
Great vid Mitch! I'm ALWAYS on foot filming, because the houses here a re close apart. 5 Stars!!!! I didnt see any !!!!!!!! in the description, lol, from crt.
So, Mitch, do you ride a bicycle around the route to catch these guys? You do such a superb job of filming these trucks, I really apreciate the effort you put into it.
Depends on the area, sometimes I'm on foot sometimes by bike. Though these days because I'm now making my way around Sydney, it's a bit hard to rely on my bike... so that's where buses and trains come into use. Not too keen on pedalling for distances up to 60km's! lol Thanks for the words! - I do my best :D
First time to see this....greenbins with yellow lid for paper recycling? usually they use it for bottles isn't it?

Thanks very much =]
Yer the arms on these Raptors are slower compared to others, bit of a let down. Though the newer ones are much faster.
