For a JD 410 that were notorious for needing either (some since new) you got a good one there. I have a '79 and am lucky that it needs either only once in the morning.
I am really fortunate that i have no had 2 use either, it has went through one winter and i never had to use either any that winter, once it got down to -17 over night last winter, it cranked for a little while but it didn't take any either
Dude, I have nothing against chevy's. On that day where that backhoe had set for a week a guy down the road let his '03 Ford set over night and it would not start, he gave it either and the damb thing still would not start.
Ford prob puts a weaker starter on it, or they run higher compression. I dont really know, but I dont think either are pieces of shit. You can tweek em all to get em right. As long as its domestic its fine by me.
Yeah you can, anything is all right by me, I just think that Ford should make a good cold starting diesel, I think that they have found one now, I have not seen one of their new diesels

I have a 4230 and it sounds exactly like this, but it is in Virginia, and I live in PA, it does not really sound the same but they are similar.
