blacker1977 is right, you needn´t fly with ryanair, but you can be glad that there is a competitive milieu in the air thanks to Ryanair, Easy, ...so you can buy a ticket with British Airways for an affordable price, too. I flew with Easyjet once, and it was ok - the only differece was, that you can´t ask for a window seat at the check-in desk, but then, you can choose your seat, and not everyone is so interested at having the window seats - just an airplane-enthusiasts like me, so i got one.

fook that! I feel nervous just going from liverpool to Dublin with Ryanair.The flight attendants speak rubbish english and when I was flying with them last week, one of them couldn't close the cabin door properly...it took her about 10 mins to shut it.

have a look at airline fatalaty statistics. or any crash statistics. for crash stats ryanair are seventh in the world i think but aerlingus is 86th. plus ryanair are top of the poll for on time flights.

Flying 9 hours across the atlantic is bad enough even on the best of airlines, but I can't imagine the suffering for 9 hours on one of their crappy flights!

Well, I did hear that the 787s being delivered for Ryanatlantic are being delayed, but O'Leary said he'll probably use alternative aircraft to fly the routes. They'll be flying out from London Stansted, Dublin, Frankfurt Hahn, Milan Bergamo, Stockholm Skavasta and Girona.

i managed to avoid flying Ryanair for 11 years until this year and, despite all the sneaky bits, i was pleasantly surprised. I'll always fly Aer Lingus to Heathrow though, Standsted and Gatwick are miles out by comparison

Did you know : When Mick O'Leary first arrived at ryanair he took 1 look at the finances and said "close it down" but Tony Ryan wouldnt and persisantly tried to make ryanair work untill it did then when everything was working like clockwork O'leary tookover and changed ryanair for the worse , and today poor Tony Ryan (the true entrepreneur)dosent gat half the credit he deserves
