@DancingAnisiA Lady Gaga just gives GREAT live performances (show wise) and is great at being original....Voice wise I would have to agree she does not give me chills like Celine Dion....but if you are going to make this list so technical then Leona Lewis shouldn't be there with Celine, Whitney, and Mariah either...they kind of blow her out the water so to speak....LOL not hatin' just sayin'....

No offense to the Beyonce and Lady Gaga lovers but neither one of them even come close to being in the same caliber as these other women. Yes, I think they can sing, but nowhere near as powerful and as beautiful as the others can. But believe it or not, if I had to choose one I'd have to go with Mariah Carey. I love her five octave range and the signature whistle notes. I've not seen anyone else in popular music that can do that.
