One thing, Adrian and Gordon never faught it out in HL1, in fact teh only time Adrian Shephard sees Freeman is when Freeman goes to Xen for the first time. Didn't quite understand the shootout, Not to say it wasn't badass.

While I laugh my head off at "Freeman's Mind," I like yours just as much, and find it just as addictive, because yours is more story based (I get a good idea of how the game goes.) and of course you're not stuck with the laughably bad lighting of the game itself. Thats the truth. The M4 was put into active service in 1997, one year before Half-Life was released, that would mean that Half-Life was already in production by that time. The HD pack didn't come out until Blue-Shift was introduced, 3 years after the first game. So the MP5 was a much more logical choice for the Rapid-Fire genre. But the HD didn't bring out their "true vision", because the MP5 was Shephards signature weapon. And they were in service by Opposing force, but they kept the MP5, so.

well, actually the MP5 was never TRULY in HL the HD pack showed the TRUE vision of Freeman though, they should update again(i know about Black Mesa Source) to make a Higher Def HD pack maybe replacing it with maybe a UMP 45 and 1. its a M40A1 sniper 2. i forgot Shepherd hadnt picked up a sniper yet :P

Lol, when the scientist was talking, gordon was reloading. In the game, whenever a scientist was talking and you reloaded, their voice was "lost" and they'd repeat from a certain part where they left off.
