I always thought Sephiroth was as much a victim as he was an antagonist, if not more so. Hojo had more to do with the calamity brought about in the FFVII cannon than anyone else. It kind of makes you wonder how things would have turned out if only Seph had stayed out of that mansion's basement...
Its always been if only...its just so saddening, but my biggest if only for FFVII is what if zack had survived? what if he just barely held on and was able to get back to midgar and see aerith again?

That's how Sephiroth was able to mess with his head. So Cloud knows what happened in the Jenova chamber the first time probably because Sephiroth wanted him to know that.

@xSOCxGenesis I always kind of thought it also had to do with the additional JENOVA and S-cells that both Zack and Cloud have. Like somehow Zack's dying essence literally tethered itself to Cloud because the cells they shared in common. So he literally took on some of Zack's memories without being told the whole story...

Sephiroth was always business but he didn't used to be evil. He wasn't narcissistic, he never talked down to anyone as if they were beneath him and he cared about his two friends. That scene, where he spared with Angeal and Genesis, he was smiling and seemed genuinely happy.
It's strange to see Sephiroth being so pleasant, I think it does help give him more dimension though, so he doesn't just seem like a generic villain with a sob story.

Sephiroth's actual Mother was Lucrecia. He was just given the Jenova cells, and told his mother's name was Jenova. Lucrecia was the woman that Vincent Valentine fell for while he was a Turk, and helped her with the tests. That's why Vincent considers himself responisible and full of sin.

Sephiroth was considered a hero before a villain. If it wasn't for misinterpreted information, confusion, and identity crisis, Sephiroth would've remained a good guy. He would have left Shinra, but he would have been a good guy. Too bad... and too good. :D Go Square Soft!--er, Square-Enix!

It was so cool to see the nibelheim homecoming scene in a real movie cutscene. When I first saw it I was like "Yeah, I remember this from original FFVII... how cool!" :)

It's strange to see Sephiroth being so pleasant, I think it does help give him more dimension though, so he doesn't just seem like a generic villain with a sob story.

The whole 9:20-9:54 i invisioned it a bit differant this one seems too plain with no emotion or anything it just feel as though sephiroth should have been talking deep and slower and his laugh more eh i don't know differant.

Sephiroth's actual Mother was Lucrecia. He was just given the Jenova cells, and told his mother's name was Jenova. Lucrecia was the woman that Vincent Valentine fell for while he was a Turk, and helped her with the tests. That's why Vincent considers himself responisible and full of sin.

Sephiroth was considered a hero before a villain. If it wasn't for misinterpreted information, confusion, and identity crisis, Sephiroth would've remained a good guy. He would have left Shinra, but he would have been a good guy. Too bad... and too good. :D Go Square Soft!--er, Square-Enix!

I think if he stayed a good guy, it wouldnt have made such a great impact on FF7 O_o Just saying cause hes such a great villain. And there are plenty of heros in ff7 but one true badass bad guy xDDD idk

Can't get used to Sephiroth being a good guy in this. It's just plain creepy. The worst part is, I like his character. He's kind of cool. I'm so ashamed! Also, his voice is sexy.

It was so cool to see the nibelheim homecoming scene in a real movie cutscene. When I first saw it I was like "Yeah, I remember this from original FFVII... how cool!" :)

I really disliked Sephiroth in FFVII. he was just annoying. But he seems very likable in Crisis Core.

Actually, his mother is a scientist called Lucrezia Crescent while his father is Professor Hojo. Both of them were involved in Project S (Sephiroth) and it was conducted in Nibelhiem.
