yea they have horns i was in harvard square before and they blew it cuz i was too close to the tracks and it very loud

They do. One time I was on the Orange Line in Boston and the operator blew the horn because a group of teenage girls were standing too close to the tracks. It was pretty loud but I think their screams were louder.

They do have horns, if you want to hear one a driver blew the horn at me in my video MBTA Red Line Subway at around 1:50
