Das ist einfach ....... unbeschreiblich ......... this recital (Ferrier und Walter am Klavier ) ist sehr wahrscheinlich der schoenste Liederabend des Jahrhunderts ...... da kann man einfach nicht tiefer gehen .......... alles anderere klingt danach wie ....... was denn ??? ....

By the time she was 17 she had passed her ARCM examination in piano and undoubtedly could, had she wished, have become a concert pianist. I also can't see Bruno Walter intentionally letting an error happen in following the score. They must have mutually decided upon this change - artistic license perhaps.

interesting way they manage the beginning of the syncopated sections....like was she rhythmically challenged at those places? It is not what's in the score.....
