Attempting to grab the Gorgons and failing will automatically get them to use their Gorgon Stare (or whatever it's called) on you.

on el matador ole, it's easier to stand at the edge of the platform when the minotaurs come towards you, then double jump and use the icarus wings and the minotaurs run right off of the edge. :P

He's using the block button (which is normally used to reflect the attack) , speed up the "stoning" process so he isn't left vunerable for less time.

Use the Golden Fleece at any time during the Gorgon Stare to block it. A button prompt will appear and you have to press the correct button to counter. If you fail, you become a statue.

Also, the Gorgons will automatically try to turn you to stone if you try to grab them.

simply smashing: bitch: the second u start the challenge, use L1 and X to use the icarus wings and break everything around u, evade forward the smash those, i like to us square square triangle combo, basically evade constantly and use attacks that have good radius damage, dont go for one at a time, triangle based attacks are always good, but remember the L1 X attack in the beginning, it helps a ton

get stoned cont.: have enough time to break out, hit the correct button and kill everything that turns to stone, minus the gorgon(s) once the satrys appear they actually don't cause much of a problem, besides the occasional attack when they knock u in the air which is deadly because if u get stoned in the air, u fall and shatter, so basically: keep evading, and once they charge up to stone u, block it and decide wether to stone urself, or counter it and kill everything around u

get stoned: this one pissed me off for a bit, when it starts, hit the gorgon once, and back off, this should casue it to "stone" you, do this twice to get harpies to spawn. now, when the gorgons are revving up to stone you, get ready to block it, if u do a quick-time button apears, if u hit it everything around u turns to stone, so, when u block it, decide quickly if u will have time to burst out of stone, if u do then hit the wrong button and immedietly start to break out of stone, if u dont

bare hands: the second u start the challenge go pick up the first sentry that spawns, which is on the right and just focus on one statue enemy at a time, although if u can, get them close so u can deal damage to both with one ram. once they are weakened enough the O apears, DONT GRAB THEM, simply finish them off normally, once the cyclops appears use the same tactic just keep ramming him, and the second ur ram dies, evade to the closest one and continue to ram, the cyclops dies rather easily

el matador: the second the minotaurs spawn, us L1 and O to smash them off the cliff, and when the sentries spawn,(first and second sentry waves) i simply evaded them till then blacked off a little then i would either grab one and use it as a ram, or just attack them regurarly while keeping my distance, and the last wave, when they all spawn, use rage of sparta and just rape

I used a similar strategy on El Matador. I would just run near the edge, jump off and then glide back to the arena when the Minatours were charging and they would run right off.
