For me Green day is a band maybe one or two people liked as I was aware of in my music social circle.

While Blink 182 Is mostly liked by any1 Even those who havent heard about them.

(Or for those who dont like blink 182 suddenly hear a unknown blink 182 song and say "Wow they were really good" "its blink" "oh..... oh they suck"..)

Green day seem to have a good popluraity among technical punks, and 40% emos / 60% Punk.

While sum 41 is 60% metal fans and 40% punk
