i have a geared 70 destro lock and its so easy to do dps like specially when thers an spriest but u need the right gear build thats 202 hit a minimun of 25% crit otherwise u sont crit during the imp sb phase and at least 1k spell dmg my lock has 100 spell dmg but i have the sso and tier 4 buff wich is better than tier 5 when both proc i get +270 spell dmg wich makes my crits go for 9.5k and its always nice to keep both immolate and corruption up.. and yeah sb dps is boring i go fire sometimes

If he wanted to do immolate and conflag he'd be fire.  Immolate/incinerate/ conflagorate spam is good but shadowbolt spammage is overall better dps

I was 00/21/40 all 8 month ago, some crt of 10k 2 times in a row maded me die lots of time couse ovveraggro, so i respecced 00/40/21. More smooth dps, good enough to raids and Master Demonoly still give u 10%+ spell dmg with sucubbus (if u get soul link will be +15% withou sucubbus sacrifice) Still if u use IMp u get less 20% aggro, what is awsome for me that have 1300 shadow dmg +26%crt and spell hit of 206... (unbufed) Locks FTW|

no he had soul link it's a 20% damage go 2 pet plus 5% damage and soul link is a 31 point talnet in dem so he's not 0/21/40

no sir, he is a master demonologist, if you look at the 2nd row on the right of his buffs, he gains spell damage from having his pet alive :) so most likly 0/41/20

he didnt sacrafice his pet because is part demonology, which increases ur bonus damage by a shit load when you have your pet out, also he has soul link that increases his damage again by another 5%

Well your healers must be very good since they can heal you up after life tab all the time normaly you should bandage/drain life if you werent have had him on farm for a very long time

Gruul is the easiest encounter in 25-man.

You still need to focus on the tanks later in the fight but you seem pretty well geared so might just be my guild where we're killing him to slow because after growth 8 we always only focus on tanks

I dont understand why this guy doesnt go deeper into destro than demo. In destro you get 3% more crit i believe its backslash and more dmg to sb and incin. You also wont need to worry about pets health when an aoe attack hits or when you get hit and soul link may eventually cost ur pets life...but thats just me

0/21/40 is the best dps spec, and use incinerate instead of shadow bolt. especially if the scorch buff is running. The benifits are far greater than that from shadow embrace.

This is true, once you reach T6 content DS/SNF is beats other specs for pure damage.

Incinerate has a lower damage coeficient than Shadowbolt. Improved Shadowbolt (which is what i think you mean by 'ShadowEmbrace') Makes the raid do more DPS than you could ever do eating Scorch debuffs and casting Immo/Incinerate. With high enough crit, the theory is ISB should have 100% uptime.

Imagine a full tier 5 raid agianst an easy boss like gruul, where its basicly a tank and spank fight, the Demonic Sacrifice/Shadow and Flame lock will be the best dmg in the end. from tier 5+ rogues catches up on em tho.. Just felt like telling you=)

no im not high, everyone knows the most viable warlock raid spec is 0//21//40 - once you are hit capped. from what i have seen he has very few resists. So yes it will be 500 more per hit and 1000 per crit. approximatly

wrong! you need about 25% crit (devestation not included) and 1k shadowdmg for it to be the best PvE specc

he has sum nice crits and overall good damage, my spec is 6/41/11 and i can do close to that damage in pve gear with 1206 spell damage and 20% crit

Wait, ur saying sacrifice the pet and LOSE dps? If you knew what you were talking about before making stupid posts you would know that you get a 10% bonus dmg increase for having your succi out.Soul link provides another 5% which makes it the same as if it were to be sacrificed. Since he is demo specced he recieves more damage bonus from master demonologist. Noob.
