  • I like alot

  • Double like for sounding like The King.

  • That is one ridiculously beautiful knife

  • NIce Job! =)

  • well done sir. well done.

  • i meant the knife. its a bit hard to make an anvil lol

  • This thing is a masterwork of superior beauty. And those are just words used to describe this. Maybe they're failing me. Gosh. Well done sir, well done.

  • very cool, great job

  • @nightwalker2830 make one then..

  • @iandegia How do you make an anvil like that?

  • very good lookin twist my friend

  • i wish i had a knife like that

  • @nightwalker2830

I wish I had an anvil like that ^^

  • Beautiful knives! I really enjoyed the techniques to make the handle and you gave me many more ideas using the tools created for you. I can cut with them the fuller easier! Thanks for posting the video.

  • I inherited an anvil that looks just the same as the one in this vid...It says brooks and is in like new condition. Are they worth any money? It looks like its hardly been used.

    Thanks

  • @kimokanka how much does it weigh and how rusted is it?

  • @capnnewb It has no rust on it and the top face has no dents or splits and is really true and flat. The more I look into hese things i'm starting to realize that it is considered to be in great shape. The weight is around 100 lbs. Any ideas?

  • @kimokanka Where I am it may get $150 sold on short notice and $225 if you advertise it well. But, that is only if it is a good qaulity anvil. If it is a Vulcan, fisher norris or a no name brand (or just plain ugly) it won't sell for as much.

  • @capnnewb Its a Brooks, and is in really great shape apparently. I was talking to a local metal worker and he is dying to see this thing. Apparently his is old and in rough shape. I sent him a picture of mine and now I think its sold because he hasn't stopped hastling me now for a week. Now i'm thinking I should keep it for an antique? Thanks again for all of your info !!

  • nice work....you have the same anvil as me ha

  • beautiful technique and insight my friend, thanks for sharing.

  • that is one big pike the blade is absolutely beautiful. also i am in complete envy of your anvil.

  • Thats good man ! Im glad I came across this vid. Im always looking for new ideas & ive never tried this before.

    Cheers thanx for sharing

  • This is beautiful, thanks for taking the time to post this.

  • i made 1 last year

  • I tried that.

It's really easy to do, I use my air hammer and it looks great.

Even if you screw it up like I did on my first one it still looks really good.

Thanks for posting this great little trick.

  • Very cool, thanks for showing us your tip. I love the way that looks. It's almost a modern look with an ancient feel. I like the way those squares step along with the contour. Nicely Done.. i'll have to try this when I get my Gladiator Anvil Mounted up on my stand.

  • That is a good looking twist.

  • I agree with him thats a very interesting idea.I would try that but seeing that im still a novice I tend to stick to the basic's as well as the easier stuff like a simple twist so I would have never thought of that.

  • that so cool.. thanks for sharing your video.

  • thats a pretty slick idea for a twist, i really like how it looks. Gonna have to try that out the next time i make a letter opener or a knife.

    Very nice video too :-)
