i can save on the Japanese version of MAKE but not the English version...

okay, i make my course, nothing wrong yet...  .... then, i try to save by pressing F11 or CTRL+F11, and it just turns off saying. Make.exe has stopped working

oh, never mind, i found a tool to remove the header and i removed it, but hwnever i try to open it with MAKE, it says: "smk.smc" can't be opened. why can't i use it?

OK, I have something to say. First, I have just downloaded the MAKE program but I don't know how to open it and get it to run. You NEVER showed or told how to actually get this program to run. You already had it running. That makes me MAD. Second, it is sometimes hard to hear your voice. You talk under your breath sometimes and I don't know what you say.

@Educationscience You know, getting mad at the person trying to help instead of just asking how to open it in a comment doesn't really get someone to want to help. You need to have an headerless super mario kart rom named smk.smc in the root folder of MAKE in order for it to launch.

As for my voice, the things said under my breath weren't important, only the things I mentioned clearly were. I'll keep that in mind for other videos though.

@Shredster7 A headerless ROM is a rom image that has removed the first 512 bytes ($200 in hex) of the ROM. The first $200 of a headered rom has no real use for hacking, so for the most part, it is removed. Note: Emulators are unaffected by the removal of a header.

Now because MAKE was designed for use with a headerless ROM, it will read data incorrectly if you keep the original header (It'd be reading $200 ahead of what it should be). Removing those 512 bytes makes it read the data properly.

IIRC, you need to have a headerless SMK rom. Have the headerless SMK rom in the root MAKE folder. Should work then.

How do I work my rom for MAKE? There are errors saying "invalid rom" and "does smk have header? what's wrong?
