  • Perhaps there should have been a more exciting demo of the application than enhancing a paper map, since all smartphones capable of running PopCode also run map software with the same information, more easily accessible.

  • @kenflagg With the map demo we were looking to show where existing printed media (such as maps posted in a city center) can be augmented with context-relevant information. The printed map works by itself, but the AR content can help with finding and filtering information on it.

    The "I am a Robot" t-shirt demo shows some more interesting 3D content which better demonstrates the capabilities of the phone and platform.

  • @extrareality I saw the "I am Robot" demo - very cool. Map augmentation is useful, of course, but it is an overcrowded marketplace IMHO. There's a huge market for your services in augmenting actual locations such as museums, national parks, etc., for which insightful metadata is not readily available. Keep up the good work!
