As a kid I had a hell of a time w/theory but could do anything senior students played better than them & always in time. Got bounced from 2 straight teachers but was still consumed w/music. By 7th grade I was playing up to 8hrs a day. I'd sit there w/the turntable next to me learning Billy's songs line by line till I could do them in my sleep. I learned from a lot of the great 70s keyboardists like Elton, Wakeman etc. Was in bands for years & copped a hell of a lot of licks from Billy! Beautiful

my boyfriend plays the sax and does jazz vocals. he played it for me infront of the entire jazz music body of the Elder Conservatorium as one of his third year recital pieces....
