no need for hatin'... whoever says it's too fast is correct... i played this the way i want to, so i know i'm doing it faster than vanessa carlton's. i felt her version is too slow.

remember: i'm improv'ing, meaning it's my interpretation and improvements to her song; it's not meant to be a carbon copy, note-for-note version. those are boring in my opinion

I didn't realize you had learned to hate classical. Google Copland, it's a compliment. Modulation = a different chord. Your whole piece is in one or two chords. The ear needs a change.

WOW!!! that was amazing i play by ear to and i been in lessons for almost a year and a half but my teacher lets me chose the songs but i can read a single note so he has to play it for me firstbut yea you are very talented keep up the good work!

i'm not trying to sound soppy but ive been playing piano for six years now. i can play by ear and stuff and i make up songs to go with lyrics ive written. that song u played is my fav song and i melts my heart everytime i hear the piano to it. u hav made it ten times better! ur my hero! :D keep up the good work!

i took lessons for 1 1/2 years and quit; i couldn't stand the classical crap. i essentially played by ear for about 2 years.

note: i don't really play the piano. i just have fun whenever i see one. this is completely improv, others have asked me to show them how, i'll try to make a tutorial someday
