Life sucks now, I wish I could go back in time to the 90's because everyone was happier back then and every family was doing something together. Now every family is separated because of divorce and technology is taking over peoples' lives.
If anything Anakin was meant to go to the Dark side....he had to keep balance in the Force, he had to eventually turn to the Dark side sometime. How can you expect to bring balance to anything if you don't give each side a taste equally?
@KentaTakashi, remember in Episode 5 when Ben said "That boy's our last hope'' Then Yoda said, ''No, there is another'' Yoda was referring to Anakin, no one else killed Palpatine besides Anakin, he risked his own life (which was obviously lost) to save his son, that's how he brought balance to the Force, and I have seen the whole series, Luke couldn't have been the chosen one because no one could tell he was
@Paddy260991 i agree with some1163, in the remakes they say that anakin is the chosen one who would "bring balance to the force" and destroy the sith. even though he travels along a fucked up path to get there, he eventually fulfills the prophecy by destroying the last of the sith.
@Paddy260991 Believe it or not, he was referring to Luke's brother, who was still in the making. However, they scrapped that idea, but kept the name, and it was recycled in a recent game. Thus, Starkiller from TFU was born.
I agree that Master Yoda was referring to Anakin... In the other famous scene he also said "Unfortunate... that you have to face him...in order to complete your trainings..." it was never an option for Yoda that Vader would or could kill his own son. Because "there is another"...
@some1163 - not so sure about that myself. The other I believe is infact Leia (in episode 5, it was not yet confirmed). Vader/Anakin was the one to bring balance to the force, it was the sudden realisation of his love for his son that caused him to throw the emperor into the duct. It was that act (the realisation) that was the death of the emperor, and Leia could have invoked the same feeling for the same result. Luke was their choice for the primary operative, but Leia was the 'another' imo.
@some1163 epic fail man... luke is the chosen one... anakin becomes vader >.> if you've ever watched the entire series you'd know this... palpatine makes infrences to vader being weak and disposable he's manipulating vader to find a more powerful sith lord because palpatine/darth sidious knows anakin has already reached his limit when he becomes vader
Vader's the chosen one. He kills the Palpatine and himself. He destroys the Sith.Just didn't happen when he should've done it. Luke just helped him make the choice to turn away from the dark side. Vader's sacrifice saved the Jedi.
Nonsense! Anakin/Vader was never the chosen one. Shmi Skywalker was just impregnated because she sat too close to Kyle Katarn on the bus.
Kyle will get around to bringing balance to the Force, but he's been having too much fun. Did you hear? Celeste Morne finally let someone kill her, because the amulet gave her the power to bear the Holy Beard's offspring, thus fulfilling the only purpose all life in the galaxy can possibly have. Only the Whills know if there will ever be another who's capable
@WillBNunn i agree because balance indicates that both sides of the argument take a fall. i never thought of it that way. i always thought vader failed and then luke was the chosen one. but this makes more sense
@WillBNunn and history repeated itself.... Darth Vader was the apprentice of Darth Sidious (Palpatine). Darth Vader killed his master as had Darth Sidious before him when he killed his master Darth Plagueis "the Wise" in his sleep.
Similar parallels exist in the betrayal of Jedi by their padawans.
@RudojiLape Me too it makes me cry at 2:23-2:48 in this video is from A Life Redeemed when he sees his fathers face one last time & when he burns him. Goodbye Anakin.
I always interpreted it as a story of how balance was supposed to come to the force. Anakin was supposed to be the chosen one, but he didn't bring balance to the force, but he fathered a son who did. It's a story not only of redemption but of family. Although since technically Vader threw palpatine over the edge he did bring balance to the force but w/e.
he didn't really bring balace to the force when he killed palpatine. because if luke wasn't there he wouldn't turn to be good inside. so it actually was luke who was the chosen one, wasn't he?
do you realize that the story you are squabbling about has massive cold war undertones? go watch a movie that has some meaningful message or is thought-provoking and debate on that.
lol also Anakin, he died at the 6 movie so i consider him a survivor...actually NVM he dies right at the end xD still these series are probably the most epic movies ever.
@Paddy260991 the two droids are fundamental for the series, because for Lucas they had to tell the stories to the "Whill", an alien race to the '"Observer", the character of the Marvel comic "Fantastic 4"
Anakin is the main character even whithout the prequel trilogy. In the end, the stories are always focused on anakin's/darth vader's struggle with coming to grips with the force.....luke is a catalyst that helps anakin discover himself in the final scenes of Jedi.
but by the time luke learns vader is his father and he learns that he was once a jedi and was currupted by the dark side of theforce, luke begins to focus on reviving his father's soul. an argument could be made that luke is the main character on episode 4 and most of 5, but by 6, its clear that its reallyall about vader....i think. :)
luke's arc in the story is much smaller than vader's. at the beginning of the series (IV) he's a good farmboy. and the end of VI, he's a good jedi master. while granted that is an arc, vader is the most evil person in the galaxy and by the end of VI he's one with the force again....its a much more complicated arc if you ask me. he pretty much sacrifices himself for luke. i'd say the entire series is about anakin's fall the the dark side and his eventual redemption at the end of VI.
also, an antogonist can be a main character of a film. (a clockwork orange, there will be blood, the godfather series, goodfellas) none of the main characters in those are necessarily nice people.
The I, II III are about anakins rist to power and betrayal of the jedi order, and IV V VI, are about anakins redemption, star wars has never really been about luke is a main point, but not the main point.
no ones the main character, its a tale about people. thats what makes it THAT much more powerful. because although there are focus characters, everyone has a back story that is just as important as everyone else. except jarjar...lmao
When I hear this song I think about Aniken growing up and becoming darth vader then dying. This song worked well when his mom was dead and he went on that hover motorcycle thing then zoomed to the camp to save his mom
Same, I think of all 6 movies when I hear this. From Anakin as a little boy, to becoming a lost Jedi, to seeing the light side of the force again. Beautiful.
some one knows the name of the song theme from the episode II clone wars? chan chan tara ran chan chan tara ran... lol.. ^^ or something like that plz
Lol it's actually Khara matha. Khara rath amah...lol yeah im not singing the whole Sanskrit song xD this song had to do with war in the viking times or something.
Khara=dreadful
matha=head
rath=speak
amah=give
lol thats all for now, theres more words but i dont wanna look like a nerd.
2:20 till 2:54 is the best... im getting an orgasmic cloud in my brain with droids and princess along with darth vaders all naked... im on a star with lasers
those delicate, gentle notes, those sorrowful long beats, the hope-inducing flute, the sad, faithful, jaw-dropping and life-giving section from 2:33 onwards..... they give me hope at my most desolate of times, they humble me when I get cocky, they simplify life to such a beautiful thing, it's like a phenomenal piece of art which one could easily get lost in.
I can only let my tears be my best tribute to JW's musical genius and depth, the way he has made Star Wars such a hope-filled, climatic, sad, sorrowful, vengeful, sinful, deep and wonderful place. The stars, the suns, the asteroids, the planets, the rims, the Jedi, the Sith, the clones, Uncle Owen, the bounty hunters, the droids, the space slugs, the TIE fighters, the X wings; everything will be etched deep in my brain till the day I die.
and just listening to these songs allows me to relive what has been, is and will always be the greatest production of all time. This is to you, George Lucas. Thank you so much for Star Wars.
well yes. some of the pictures do look like they were animated. I'm not much of a super geek but i am sure you are able to make them. But...- the nature is beautiful...
This is just the most sweeping, incredible piece of music. I think John Williams really nailed the whole fantasy across the stars theme when he wrote the score for the originals.
computer animation! "computer this and computer that nehnehneh!" cant you computer "nerds" ever accept that this is natrual footage enough with the computers lets resolve around nature for once and enjoy the FANTASTIC music!!! i agree animation is clever but c'mon we are always inside on youtube and there is this fantastic planet and what are we doing destroying it!!! and we are making eachother aware of this on YOUTUBE! youtube made us aware of the problems but we never do anything damn it man!

well yes. some of the pictures do look like they were animated. I'm not much of a super geek but i am sure you are able to make them. But...- the nature is beautiful...

This is just the most sweeping, incredible piece of music. I think John Williams really nailed the whole fantasy across the stars theme when he wrote the score for the originals.

I don't know, you should contact Microsoft for more info, it's their Vista Ultimate Dreamscenes I used.
I think they're in America though, they ran a program and windows users submitted in HD photos and Video loops to be used in Windows.
