Easy Paint tool Saï Coloring Tutorial Basics

Salut ! =) Je cherche une tablette graphique de taille A4 pour mes dessins, mais je ne sais pas quelle marque, type etc. choisir. Faudrait que la tablette en question puisse se connecter à mon PC et que je puisse coloriser avec The Gimp. Tu me conseilles quoi comme tablette ? :o

How do you choose what colours to use for shadows? This is something I always struggle with :c

@Obsidiax the shadow color is logicaly darker than in light. but this color is influenced by environment color (more blue if sky is blue for example)

Am I the only one with this problem? I draw the circle in layer 2 then I create layer 3 and put it under layer 2, but when I try to just paint inside the circle it just does it everywhere.. Help Please?

@saintsrow15 You have to make sure the bucket tool is switched to "Working layer" with "strict" fuzziness (:

salut, je suis encore debutante en ce qui concerne paint tool sai et j'aimerai tellement m'améliorer dans ce programme :) ton tutorial m'aide vraiment mais j'ai des problemes a voire quels outils tu utilise. tu pourrais me dire quels outils tu utilise pour colorier tes dessins? :)

@2speedie2 j'utilise "pen" pour le remplissage et la couleur brute en général, et "brush" pour faire les nuances/dégradé/etaler la couleur tout ça. il faut impérativement une tablette graphique par contre

Thanks a bunch, even though I have used paint tool SAI for some time there where some new things for me to learn and notice, for example I didn't know you could use the fill tool on a different layer then the lineart.

Also loved the general tips, like subsurface scattering - something I never had heard of befor!
