Why does a lioness have to leave the pride to give birth if they go by instinct? Why not stay with the pride for protection and then the father should know his cubs.
It's not like humans lol, male lions are agressive by nature and will kick around the newborn cubs out of curiosity and more probably to show dominance. And that will kill a newborn easily.
Male lions? No I doubt they'd do it on purpose for their own pride but they will mess around with the cubs hitting them around and for a newborn even a little hit from a big male lion will kill them. So the mother lioness's wait before they introduce the cubs to the male.
@MegaBaboon1 baby lions are very fragile at birth, and the mother doesn't want the other lions in the pride to injure her cubs, whether on purpose or on accident. and although male lions love their own cubs, they are many times stronger than lionesses and can easily injure a cub on accident, so the mother waits until the cubs are less fragile before she lets them see the rest of the family
@tigerlord667 Reading your reply, I was wondering the same thing as Baboo1, but in reguard to your comment, evolution in general is kinda like warning labels on products
They happened before
It says don't swallow or put in eyes on most chemicals, because someone did it and expected some money, Lioness keeps her newborn around and the drunk father steps on one lol Now millennia later, they move away for a few weeks before introducing them

dude thats so true little cubs are cute but dangerousee to u see them teeth and claws when there tething and playin they will bit u and scratch u so think about it.
why dont ppl say ''soo cute'' to the adult lions??
they're just as fury, is it because you pity the little lions and want to take care of them because you feel superior and you can take care of yourself...?
i hate human stupidty, a how gullable we are.
in 1 years time, the little lion will out weigh you, have more strength than you, and be able to kill you.
We don't say it about the adult cats because they aren't cute. duhhh! Apparently you don't have a nurturing instinct. It has nothing to do with stupidity, or gullibility, or feeling superior any of that nonsense you just spewed. it's just an instinctive emotional reaction.
1:53 is the cutest part! the cub is biting the tail so cute
