  • I have to do roaccutane. :<

  • Diet does have an impact, i don't know why doctors say it doesnt. I know from personal experience that it does.

  • Diet definitely has a huge impact. My ex used to have the worst acne on his back...like seriously horrible. He ate so much chocolate, sugar, peanut butter, preservatives. Then he started eating really healthy food--lots of whole foods like organic meats and vegetables. The acne cleared up drastically, with no gels. So there. Medical profession wants to sell their products, not make people healthy.

  • diet doesnt always impact your skin infact 9 times out of 10 its something unrelated to foods but they can have some effect if your not eating enough in the way of vitamins and minerals and also some alergies or intolerances can appear as a spotty region. i had severe acne. my doctor told me to stop eating dairy and take iron pills as im lactose intaloerant and anemic. those both helped a bunch but in the end it turned out i had a minor hormone imbalance.

  • I'm just saying, diet CAN and does have some impact...allergies, lack of vitamins, etc. can have an impact. Sometimes it's another factor, but to say what you eat doesn't affect you is just plain wrong. ;-) Cheers.

  • hahaha the part where she says about diet having no effect is such BS

  • She's a doctor. I think she knows more than you.
