how long did it take you to atleast stand up on two feet or walk again? i broke my ankle to and i got 2 weeks left and iv had my cast on for 10 weeks had surgery 6 screws and a plate. just wondering cause i hate it atm :(
Hey, After my cast was removed i had a further few weeks in an "Aircast" type thing that could be removed whenever i did not need it on. After that few weeks i got to start partial weight bearing from there its another few weeks untill your walking on two feet with no crutches.
you have a while to go yet but beleive me, as you are concentrating on getting it working again, the rehabilitation phase goes by a LOT faster than the healing phase :)
I once had to wear a cast on both legs (I had an operation to lengthen the tendens since I always stood on my tip-toes) and when they used the saw to take them off, it really hurt since the bottom half clamped onto my leg >.< Worst day ever xD
Wiggling your toes felt good didn't it? Just watching that cast being pulled off made me cringe. It brought back memories of the pressure I felt on my leg. Although, I did not have surgery it appears that you did. Your foot doesn't look bad at all!
@bentleyshoe Oh yes! wiggling my toes felt surprisingly amazing lol however the strangest feeling was when i touched the scar area and it was completely numb with no feeling at all.
But it sure felt good coming out of that cast after 6 weeks :)
